Cũng là "tôi", nhưng ở một thế giới khác với lựa chọn khác.

Quyển này liên kết với "Nhắn gửi tất cả các em, những người mà tôi đã yêu" nè, giải thích tất cả các hố còn chưa lấp ở cuốn kia. Mỗi tội quyển này đọc nhiều kiến thức vật lý hoá học quá não ong ong đúng là cô bé tàn tật các môn tự nhiên =)))

A really great alternate story to “To Every You I’ve Loved Before”

The idea around the series was very creative and unique, and whilst the execution wasn’t flawless, it was still a lot of fun to read and have a much different reaction/understanding depending on the order you read them.

A lot more happens in this one particularly, whilst the other one felt a lot smaller in scale (still good though), this one dealt with the imaginary science a lot more in depth and had a more serious story. It was a little more harder to understand the science this time around which ruined the flow a little but it was nothing major and the analogies made it easier to understand the theories.

I really enjoy creative books like these where it’s just a fun reading experience and I think this could’ve easily got more parts focusing on different realities but the 2 really align nicely especially with the viewpoint on the whole romance. This book doesn’t ruin the ideology presented in the other story but instead builds upon it more with the ending in a really bittersweet way that was done effectively.

Overall, this series was a great read and I wish there was more books like this

This is a sad story. A lonely one.

People can and are traveling between parallel worlds all the time. But maybe you can actually choose where to go if you've got the right constitution for it. That's the case for Koyomi, which he finds out the day he meets Shiori, who'd grow to become his best friend, accomplice, and all else. One day, they find out the world they lived wouldn't allow their relationship to be what it was, so they try to go to another one where they can be happy. However, tragedy issues, and though Koyomi manages to return, only Shiori's conscience/soul comes back, stuck on a crossroad where only Koyomi can really see and hear her.

It's hard to expect any different from the characters when they were just children, so that tragedy happened it was inevitable. And while I can't relate to the main character's single-mindedness, and while I think he's pretty selfish for that, I can understand why he'd never forget what happened and dedicated all his life and more to repairing his mistakes.

However, all the theory behind it trying to make it into science fiction was pretty weak and at times made me frown and/or laugh. There's an attempt at world-building, a place where people travel through other possibilities of realities, but it's never taken too far; only the main character seems to be really doing it, though they say the world. This would have gone better as simply supernatural.

And the ending... err.

And yes, I'm aware there is a "mirror" or maybe a "twin" book to this one, I think there is a spin off as well. Maybe the end can savaged with more information. I just haven't decided if I trust the author enough, given how shallow the basis to the story is. Maybe I'll just watch the movie.

sudah cukup lama sejak aku baca buku science-fiction, dan buku ini menjadi salah satu pemantik ingatan mengapa science-fiction menjadi salah satu genre yang aku minati juga.

tentang Shiori dan Koyomi yang melakukan percobaan melintasi ruang dan waktu untuk bisa melihat diri mereka dengan pilihan yang berbeda di dunia yang lain.

major themenya romance, yang kadang bikin merengis karna lumayan cheesy tapi dengan medium science fiction sebagai penghantarnya bikin cerita dalam buku ini lebih enjoyable untuk dibaca dan banyak plot twistnya. menurutku, penggunaan kecerdasan buatan ini malah bikin aku lebih simpati ke emotinal growth dari masing-masing karakternya.

plotnya ada beberapa yang terlalu cepat dan jumpy tapi tetap tidak mengurangi keseruan pacenya. saat menyelesaikan buku ini aku jadi penasaran sama bukunya yg lain yang jadi companion dari novel ini.

rekomended buat kamu yg baru mau menyelam di dunia science-fiction.

Cũng là câu chuyện về Hidaka, về thế giới song song, nhưng cuộc sống của Hidaka ở thế giới này lại hoàn toàn trái ngược với thế giới từ "nhắn gửi tất cả các em...". Đọc phần này thì đau đầu hơn phần trước vì chuyện nghiên cứu về thế giới khác được chú trọng nhiều hơn.

Nhưng phải công nhận đọc "nhắn gửi các em..." thì mới chỉ thấy khá thú zị, đọc đến cuốn này thì mới thấy tác giả viết giỏi thật. Kiểu mọi thứ đều được sắp xếp logic với nhau, những bí ẩn ở cuốn kia đều được giải đáp ở cuốn này (và ngược lại). Nên dù có đọc cuốn nào trước thì vẫn nắm bắt được cốt chuyện á. Cho nên ai có đu thì hãy đu cả 2 cuốn, và đọc cả 2 mới thấy sự hay ho của series nàyyyyy

Cũng thú vị tuy nói thật là tôi cho rằng scifi nên giải thích ít thôi vì càng giải thích càng khiến người ta nghi ngờ.
Nhưng tôi xem cả đời ông hóa ra cuối cùng là để thấy ông thất bại à?
Kể ra cả đời ám ảnh với một thứ, nếu khen thì gọi là giữ được sơ tâm, kiên định gì đó, nếu chê thì gọi là chẻ chow, không có sự phát triển nhân vật :)) Chắc tôi ghen tị nhưng làm người phải biết buông bỏ chớ các bạn ơi.

I took interest of the Japanese anime movies: To Me, the One Who Loved You and To Every You I’ve Loved Before because people said that you would experience different ending depending on order you watch the film. Being me, I researched through the internet for people’s opinion on which order is the optimum one, there are several options and of course I choose the order that fit chronologically. After watching both movies, I immediately searched for the ebook in Kindle and I kid you not! There are things that are better explained in the book and the endings got me sob more than when I watched the movies (at least for To Me, the One Who Loved You).

The story sets in a world where multi-universe exists and people are aware that a certain people can travel between the multi-universes intentionally. It explores the theme of choices and causality in the world. Every single choice we made, every little one will have an impact to the world we would live in.


To Me, the One Who Loved You follows Koyomi Hidaka whose father is working at the Japan research institution for this parallel universe/multi-universe matters. When Koyomi was 7, his parents got divorce and he chose to live with his father. Koyomi spends his leisure time at the daycare in the institution where his father works, and that’s where he met Shiori Satou, daughter of the director of the institution. Through Shiori, Koyomi had the firsthand experience to ‘parallel shift’ to another universe where he can meet his dog again who passed away a month prior because he didn’t understand his dog’s death and the meaning of life/death.

Koyomi and Shiori got close with each other and their world starts to crumble when Koyomi’s father and Shiori’s mother told them they will remarry resulting Koyomi and Shiori to become step-siblings. Because they’ve developed feelings with each other they search for a world where Koyomi and Shiori would never become step-siblings for their runaways. And that’s where the fateful event occurred. Shiori had accident in the parallel world and turned into a ‘spirit’. Thus, Koyomi spends most of his life committing to save Shiori’s spirit. It was very heartbreaking that in the end, in order to save Shiori he had to choose a world where they never met each other. And that the title (To Me, the One Who Loved You) is a reminder for himself for when he travelled back in time to redo everything in another world where Koyomi and Shiori never get to meet, that he (other Koyomi) would remember the promise to meet Shiori again at a very old age.

hello, cũng đã lâu rồi nhỉ. mình vừa đọc xong một cuốn sách nên muốn lên đây trò chuyện một chút.

lúc cuốn này phát hành, mình k bị ấn tượng mấy, vì nhìn bìa thì k hợp với mình lắm haha. sau này khi phim được ra mắt mình cũng chẳng có dự định đi xem, nhưng mà được bạn lâu ngày k gặp rủ đi thế nên là vì cũng muốn gặp lại bạn nên mình đã đi xem cả 2 bộ trong ngày luôn.

để kể thêm thì thứ tự mình chọn xem là ‘Nhắn gửi một tôi, người đã yêu em’ trước, sau đó là ‘Nhắn gửi tất cả các em, những người tôi đã yêu’. mình thấy may mắn vì thứ tự như thế quả thật rất hoàn hảo và nó mang đến một trải nghiệm khá hay về cả 2 bộ phim lẫn nội dung và mạch truyện. (toi đã khóc rất nhìu)

vậy nên sau khi xem phim xong, mình đã quyết định mua sách (cũng k có dự định gì đâu, do đi hội sách mà k có lựa chọn gì trong đầu nên mình đã lấy 2 cuốn này thui).

câu chuyện về Koyomi và Shiori ở một thế giới mà khái niệm về ‘thế giới song song’ đã bắt đầu dần tồn tại và việc có thể đi qua các thế giới song song tuỳ ý dần thành hình. trong một lần lén trốn qua thế giới khác cùng với nhau, Shiori đã gặp tai nạn và linh hồn bị mắc kẹt tại một ngã tư, còn thể xác thì rơi vào tình trạng chết não. để cứu được người mà mình yêu thương, Koyomi bằng bộ óc thông minh đã cố gắng nghiên cứu và tìm cách, đồng thời mỗi ngày đều đến ngã tư đó để gặp và trò chuyện cùng hồn ma Shiori (thứ mà chỉ có mình cậu thấy và nghe).

nội dung k khác trên bản anime mấy, chỉ là cảm giác khi đọc sẽ khác hơn lúc xem phim thôi, ngoài ra sách dễ đọc, mạch truyện khiến mình hứng thú, nhiều chi tiết khi đọc sẽ hiểu rõ hơn. cũng có những đoạn khi lên anime đã được thay đổi. cá nhân mình thấy bản sách hay bản phim cũng đều có cái hay của nó í.

ở phim và cả ở sách, có đoạn làm mình khá thổn thức và cảm động, cảm thấy cả một chút sự ngọt ngào nữa, đó là đoạn khi Koyomi đang trên đường đưa một cô bạn đồng nghiệp về, đến ngã tư nơi hồn ma Shiori đang đứng, khi bước ngang qua, Koyomi đã khẽ cúi xuống thì thầm với Shiori rằng:

“Tớ sẽ quay lại ngay, cậu ráng chờ một chút nhé.”

chỉ một chi tiết nhỏ thôi nhưng mình có thể cảm nhận được tình cảm của Koyomi dành cho Shiori nhiều đến mức nào.

Disappointed. Still over the concept. Still hard science fiction but this had too many logic gap when read with the other book.
According to the other book, there always exist the possibility of the other choice; i.e. that toast for breakfast analogy. So, there must be the possibility of the accident not happening, or Shiori was able to get away or Shiori made it to the curb. But that was not a possibility here?

Next, he wants to travel back in time to a world where they didn't meet so it wouldn't lead to the accident. Um...he did go to a world like that. Many.

First there was the world he visited where his parents were not divorced (the one where they thought he was a robber). And he hadn't meet her by that time. It was by his request that his dad introduced them...a week later... He could have traveled to this world because if his parents weren't divorced then there is no remarriage. Even if they meet they can be in-love and get married. No need to run away. She wouldn't die.
I mean, at the time, he didn't like that Shiori because it was not his Shiori but ultimately he chose a world where they didn't even meet so did it matter if he met a Shiori who didn't act like his Shiori? Not part of his life anyway.

Secondly, there were worlds where he did not meet Shiori by age...40(? Can't remember) but I feel that he could have chose those worlds too because how would she become a ghost if they had met by then? They wouldn't be childish enough to run away so she wouldn't be at the intersections trying to shift back. So it makes no sense when the story stresses that in all worlds where they meet, Shiori ends up being a ghost. How would that accident play put if they met at 50 and no longer immature or their parents already passed.
And again back to, possibilty is the teo sides of a coin.

It doesn't make sense that the other side of coin didn't exist.

Nonetheless, I did enjoy the heavy science fiction concept.

The perfect one day read! I’m glad I read the blue version first before this one, it was so nice to see how the ending all played out and who the “mystery” old woman was in the blue story. [SPOILERS] I’m happy he got to live a life without Shiori despite thinking it would’ve never been possible, esp considering how he devoted his life to saving her the entire book and he SUCCEEDED. Reading the other book first was relieving, I think I would’ve been too sad to know he had a ghost gf from worlds away that he dedicated his life work to saving. In the end of the blue book, Kiyomi and Shiori reunited happily - even without meeting for 66 years. They lived their good happy lives and met each other when they promised they would. The part in the blue book where Kiyomi talks about shifting to a far away world inexplicably at age 10 was also a nice resolved mystery. This was such a heart warming story, I can’t wait to reread and watch the movies.

Finished the other book yet I still couldn't get the hype... If anything, I found Koyomi in this book more annoying than the other Koyomi in the other book. And these sci fi slash romance books feel exactly like what you'd expect of how post-Shinkai works would be (but paler than his works). Not saying I dislike such works, it's just that I don't think these two books are ones whose stories I can sympathise with.

Terkait terjemahannya - harap dicatat, ini pendapat yang terbentuk tanpa akses ke material asli - terus-terang saya terganggu ketika membaca ucapan-ucapan Koyomi dan Shiori saat mereka masih anak-anak. Gaya bicara dan pilihan kata mereka rasanya kurang wajar bagi anak seusia mereka - membuat saya bertanya-tanya, memang aslinya mereka ngomongnya begini, atau penerjemah luput mempertimbangkan usia karakter?

This is one is the complete irony of "To Every You I've Loved Before" and it is beautiful. The amount of symbolism in this story makes you wonder, even after reading. The story complements each other as it shows the duality of life in an alternate reality fiction. In all my reading, this is the only time I lost sleep after finishing it just because of analysing the meaning of the two. It is a rich piece of literature that has a lot to take in and many mysteries that allows you to even create head canons on why the two are connected. "To Me, The One Who Loved You" and "To Every You I've Loved Before" are not sequel or one story, they are seemingly separate stories that have a deeper connection.

Buku merah ini jauh lebih menyesakkan dari buku biru, To Every You I've Loved Before. Secara dramatis sejujurnya aku lebih suka buku merah ini meski Koyomi benar-benar tidak bahagia. Di sini Koyomi menyukai gadis lain, Shiori. Namun, Shiori meninggal dan jadi hantu ketika melakukan perpindahan dunia paralel bersamanya ke tempat orangtua mereka tidak pernah bercerai. Maka setelah kembali ke dunianya, Koyomi menghabiskan seumur hidupnya untuk berusaha menyelamatkan Shiori, bahkan berusaha memutar balik waktu 😭

Kazune muncul lagi di sini, sebagai rekan kerja Koyomi. Bukan sebagai kekasih. Duh menyesakkan. Sayangnya aku masih bingung dengan banyak konsep sci-fi-nya seperti persoalan Guinnes Cascade dan perpindahan waktu itu. Endingnya juga... apa-apaan 😭

同時刊行された本（「僕が愛したすべての君へ」）を先に読んでいると、「あぁ、主人公が入れ替わった時、こっちの世界ではこうなってたのか」という答え合わせが気持ちよくできる内容。
…そして、こちらを後に読む事で、もう一作の方の舞台裏というか、「何故主人公はあの時あの場所に行く事になったのか」が分かる作りになっている。

この2作を読むと、主人公のくっつく相手が全く違う事で、物語が違ってきていて面白いけれど、結局栞が本命って事だよな、1作目の相手はある意味妥協だよな、と複雑な気持ちになってしまう。

また、「自分が別の自分と入れ替わっている間にやらかした事」があまりストーリーに大きく関わってこず（まぁ、よく似てる世界と入れ替わってる事が多いから、あまり「普段の自分」と違う事はしないんだろうけど）、なんか残念。折角空白の時間があるのに。
それと、やはり最後の方で唐突に出てくる時間旅行の話。
映画「Butterfly Effect」を連想するストーリーラインで、だけど、その一回だけ使われていて、なんか拍子抜け。まぁ、並行世界物と一緒に詰め込みすぎると、物語があっちこっち行きすぎて収集つかなくなるからだろうけど。

ページ数も少なく、並行世界の話なので同じ描写の箇所も多々あったので、一瞬で読めたけれど、その分とても軽くて物足りなく感じて　しまったので、「普通に面白かった」で星3つ。

Tragic book with some fun sci-fi elements. I would have liked it to be a bit longer, but it was a quick, satisfying read. I give this one 4 stars because while the books (the other one is "To Every You I've Loved Before") can be read in either order, this one has the weaker of the posable endings, as well as the weaker cast. The characters of the father and director are more fleshed out in this one, but it comes at the cost of having less characters over all. The book feels a bit rushed near the end, like the author just wanted to get to the next book, which I myself prefer. Good book and worth a read.

Light novel này rất hay tuy nhiên kết cục lại trái ngược với cuốn 1 cặp với light novel này. Câu truyện có phần kết khá bi thảm khi nhân vật chính lại đâm đầu vào 1 tình yêu mù quáng. Cố gắng hồi sinh người mình thương. Và với mô típ đa vũ trụ và khi chính nhân vật chính lại đâm đầu vào nghiên cứu thứ này nó phải gọi là hơi đau đầu khi đọc những thứ toán lí gì đó. Hơi khó hiểu, nhưng nhìn chung tác phẩm này vẫn đáng để đọc. Và hơn hết nên đọc cuốn 1 cặp với light novel này để hiểu hơn về mạch cốt truyện thần kì này. Nó liên kết với nhau 1 cách kì lạ đấy.

Đề tài du hành thời gian và thế giới song song vẫn luôn vô cùng thu hút mình từ trước đến nay, nên khi đọc “Nhắn gửi một tôi người đã yêu em” mình đã vô cùng hào hứng. Do đã xem phim từ trước nên mình cũng đã nắm sơ được cốt truyện, nhưng khi đọc light novel thì vẫn bị xoắn não như thường vì não không kịp load kiến thức khoa học mà truyện đề cập. Nếu được đọc bộ đôi này lúc mình còn học cấp 3 thì có lẽ sẽ dễ hiểu hơn bây giờ (biểu hiện của tuổi già :)))). Hy vọng cuốn còn lại không khiến mình thất vọng.

Nếu đọc quyển "Nhắn gửi tất cả các em, những người tôi đã yêu" thì ta thấy tươi sáng và hạnh phúc bao nhiêu thì đến cuốn này ta cảm thấy u buồn và lắng đọng bấy nhiêu. Mình đọc cuốn này sau và thấy so với cuốn kia, độ hấp dẫn và sâu sắc của cuốn này không hề thuyên giảm, hai cuốn sách liên kết với nhau và có sự đan xen nhau vô cùng thú vị, đặc sắc. Tác giả đã mang đến cho ta hai cuốn sách, một tác phẩm cùng với trải nghiệm vô cùng độc đáo.

This book is a short read, but don’t ask why it took me a bit.

However, this book was good. In all honesty, the start (childhood portion) had me cringing. But as the story progressed, I just felt sad—for all parties of this story. And that ending, I was flabbergasted. Not going to lie, the sci-fi jargon lost me multiple times.

Will be reading the second book (I didn’t know it was a “twin” book😬) and watching the movies.

"Nhắn gửi một tôi, người đã yêu em", câu chuyện tình yêu viễn tưởng nhưng cũng đầy bi kịch của Hidaka. Một cuộc gặp gỡ thời thơ ấu kéo theo một hành trình dài để chuộc lại những sai lầm trong quá khứ. So với cuốn "Nhắn gửi tất cả các em, những người tôi đã yêu" trong cùng series, cuốn này mang màu sắc u ám hơn, đào sâu hơn về khía cạnh khoa học. (mặc dù mình chưa đọc cuốn kia =)))

A heavy science fiction that focuses on parallel worlds and the pursuit of happiness. Note:depending on the order you read this series the ending/story will be different. The order in which the two books make the most sense is red and then blue. I found the story interesting and the pacing solid. It definitely focuses on romance and never forgetting the one you loved. The story I said previously focuses heavily on science fiction. For me I've been looking forward to this book since last year and it didn't disappoint.

It was still a good book but somehow I felt that this was made to make the other one better. I can't help but compare. Koyomi had worked so hard in this life. Kazune was as always the best girl. While I enjoyed and felt happy with the other, I felt heartbroken and tired on this one.
