SO GLAD I WAS NOT PUT OFF BY THE TITLE AND BOUGHT IT NONETHELESS!!!
this could have easily be a 5 star novel for me if it wasn't for the FL's annoying ass family and her hurting the guy by not being brave enough to protect their relationship. This was really a trope that I wanted to see being nicely written, the nerd * the teacher's nightmare. It was really well done tbh, except that some parts like the FL not wanting to admit her relationship to her parents to 'not disappoint' them and the parts where the FL's parents hard-core guilt tripped her and really gave me the vibe that they did not give two shits of whether their daughter was happy or not as long as she met their high expectations and not get in a relationship. WHY?? because they 'could not' divorce although there was no love between them as they wanted her to live in a complete family and hence had to put up with each other for their daughter's sake. I just couldn't understand the real dumb logic of these and was really just put off.
bs aside, the reconciliation was REALLY GOOD THO. no explanation could do it justice so imma just say, read the last few chapters if you wanna get a jab of insulin to boost up your day.
