Second Chances
After losing her husband Jessica is left picking up the pieces of her broken heart while raising her daughter by herself. Her friends and family think enough time has passed and she should get out there and date. But dating is the last thing on her mind. Between taking care of her daughter, work, and the PTO she doesn’t have time for dating. Though no one wants to hear it, they set her up with every single man in the area. This book follows the story of Jessica and Wyatt. Early on Jessica loses her husband and has to raise her daughter alone! In comes Wyatt who is her brothers best friend and we go from there!
I loved the storytelling and how much we learnt about the characters throughout the book. The fake dating aspect was awesome and was the perfect opening for their relationship.
The miscommunication later on had me growling at my kindle and shouting oh hell no!! Luckily it all came right in the end.
There was lots of spice in this book!!
Overall a fab read and I definitely want to read more from this author.

I loved this book. This book was very spicy and romantic. Interesting. I loved how mature the characters acted and how well they handled the situations. I'll definitely recommend it if you like spicy books and not too much drama. I honestly cannot wait to keep on reading more books by Becca 🖤

Second chances was love at first sight!
SPOILER ALERT... I LOVED this book and so will you! Jessica and Wyatt’s story was a wonderful tale of ups and downs, full of complex characters who were real and very likable. I especially loved the authors ability to create relationships between her characters that made me want to be part of her story. It was funny, It was sexy, It was romantic, and it was even a bit sad. It ended in a HEA.... what more can I say except, I was so sad to see it end! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

He's sweet, attentive, caring, and likes to have his hands all over her🥵🔥

If you’re looking for a great love story, you’ve found it.. Jessica and Wyatt’s story is one for the proverbial books.. it touches on the subject of losing a spouse, while having a child.. and then finding love.. it was a great story with TONS of steamy love scenes. Fingers crossed for more books for the other characters in this book 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Omg I absolutely LOVED this book!! I cried and laughed - it definitely gave me all the feels! Jessica was a very relatable character and funny as hell! And Wyatt?!!!! Omg!!! It wasn’t hard to fall in love with his character 🤣🤣 It was a great story with love, laughter and some really steamy scenes!! Highly recommend!!

🍁There are a lot of genres of books but sometimes you need to pick some specific to learn a particular aspect of life. Have you ever thought if you could read something With some incredible hot love scenes, the perfect amount of cheesy love things So recently I came across a book called " Second Chances”
🍁Starting with the title of the book " Second Chances " I feel the title is a relevant one as the book takes about aspects of love also it is easy to understand and also is a catchy one. Apart from all this it has that attention catching quality because reading the title it gives a vibe that love is measurable so it grabs the attention of the viewer. Cover on the other hand is a very attractive one, color combination is nice. Overall the outer appearance of the book is appealing and I would give it a 2/2 for the cover and the title.
🍁Talking about the content of the book, we all know what love is it's just everyone has a different definition and most of them are inspired by visuals and most of the visuals just romanticize situations so we often confuse it with love.
🍁Heading to the storyline, the storey centres around Wyatt and Jessica's characters, and everything in the storey is clarified so that you can imagine everything in your head. It's going to make you go through a combination of thoughts, you're going to be crying at one point and laugh at another, and that's what makes it special.

💙 Just loved reading it and I actually enjoyed reading it.
💙 If you're hoping for an extraordinary love novel, you've found it. The story of Jessica and Wyatt is one of the popular books that discusses the problem of missing a life partner while raising a youngster. And the discovery
of passion afterwards...
💙 The story is about the heroes Wyatt and Jessica and everything is clarified in the story with the goal that you can imagine everything in your mind. It will make you experience blend of feelings, you will be crying at one second and chuckling at the other and that is the thing that make it extraordinary. Jessica was experiencing a difficulty and she had continued dating as the last alternative after the demise of her better half yet I feel whatever is written in the destiny gets valid for us and that is what is happening here.
💙 Now, there must be a lot of doubts popping up in your mind like what happens next. Just go and grab the book fast to find the best read ever. It wasn't hard to encounter energetic affections for his character it was a remarkable story with fondness, laughing and some really hot scenes!
💙 If you’re into some romantic read, this is just a perfect match for you. This book made me rush through a lot of emotions, lovely, romantic, happy and made me cry too. But it was all worth it.

💗🎀Second Chances (Love In Cedar Springs Book 1) by Becca Jones is a long read of 33 chapters and 300 pages which took me to read. The story is totally interesting but strain in my eyes forced me to read In intervals.
💗🎀Coming to the plot, the story revolves around the protagonists Wyatt and Jessica’s and everything is explained in the story so that you can picture everything in your mind. It will make you go through mix of emotions , you will be crying at one moment and laughing at the other and that’s what make it unique.
💗🎀 Jessica was going through a dilemma and she had kept dating as the last option after the death of her husband but I feel whatever is written in the fate gets true for us and that’s what the story is about.

I’m a sucker for an age gap trope, especially when it’s the woman thats older. (I’m 5 years older than my husband) Also a brother’s best friend story? AND he’s military? Yes please!!!
Even though this is her debut novel, I read it after several others by her and I will say, I cannot tell it’s the first. I thought it was beautifully written and I fell in love with the main characters. I wish every man was as caring and generous as Wyatt. Also Jess made me strive to be a better mom. Excited to read Broken next.
Side note: If you love baseball romance or even just a good sports romance, check out her Angels series. LOVED them!!

Where to start? I love a brothers best friend trope and this one was done so incredibly well!
The characters jump off the page and into your heart the moment you start reading. The beginning will break your heart but in comes Wyatt and he does a stellar job at mending it- even through his own heartache.

My debut novel. This started out as an outlet - writing a new world, creating characters I loved, and loved to hate. I never thought it would see the light of day, but here we are.
Second Chances is emotional and real. Jessica is like any other mid-thirty mom in a small town. Busy with her kid, work, trying to squeeze in a social life. She has a fun-loving, yet noisy and overbearing family. A little brother, (who’s a grown man, but the 10 year age gap still makes him her little brother), who would do anything to protect her from any kind of pain. Especially after watching what losing her husband did to her and his niece. I could relate to her - having multiple siblings myself and a large close family. I hope most people could relate on some level to her and her family, as well as her friends and home life. Jessica also has a daughter who is her whole world. She's a main character in this story as well. Katherine is a spit fire of a little girl. One who misses her Daddy and wishes she could be like the rest of her friends who have their Dads.
Wyatt is swoon worthy in his brooding and stoic ways. But he's also sweet, thoughtful, even playful and funny (in the right setting). He has his own baggage to work through. His own demons to overcome. He's not a laid back bachelor, he has his own back story, which made him the man he is today. And where he thinks he should be and where he ends up, thanks to the love of a good woman, and her daughter.
I cried for Jessica and Kat's loss. For what Wyatt thought was normal and acceptable from people who said they loved him. I love their love story. There’s some rough stuff, dealing with becoming a widow. Even abortion.
Second Chances will always hold a special place in my heart as my first. I can see now that I have grown as a writer, but this is still an incredible love story with a beautiful HEA.
I hope you enjoyed it as well.
