Love Has Never Been So Dangerous

Paige Kelley, a newly licensed private investigator, is living an uncomplicated life of handling routine, open-and-shut cases. In a chance encounter, she meets Travis Deleine, a former American Hockey League player who left the game at the height of his career and the two soon begin an intimate affair.

As Paige undertakes a mundane investigation the case develops a disturbing turn when it ties back to Anthony Giro, a powerful and dangerous mobster. And Travis.

As the relationship between Paige and Travis deepens, Giro learns of Travis's intent to betray him, and he acts swiftly to avenge the grievance.

Ultimately, Paige is caught between two powerful men in a fight where everything is at stake and there can be no winner.

An accomplished ghostwriter, Chris Hammer was born in Queens, NY and started writing at the age of eight when she wrote a short story about a donkey. The dye was pretty well cast from there.
Currently working on the fourth installment in her Dysorganized Crime Series, Chris Hammer's love of writing is exceeded only by her love of animals. She uses her celebrity to speak for those who have no voice and in 2010 founded Irving House Animal Sanctuary to care for special-needs and senior animals. She shares her home with a menagerie of furry and feathered family on LI's East End.
