I haven’t DNF’d a Book in quite a long time, but I just couldn’t get into the frame of mind I needed to be to enjoy this book.

So yes while, It could be because I’m just not in the right mood to enjoy this book, but I won’t deny part of this book has a very close similarity to the beginning of The Hunger Games. Even though those books & the movies are not my jam, I can’t turn a blind eye at some things and I personally just immediately lost interest.
This book just did not hold my attention, maybe I’ll give it another go some other time.

First off, I dislike sci-fI very much. But that cover has me drooling. And OMG I’m so glad I grabbed this one. Felicity is fierce. There’s no taming this bad girl. Those Centurions are just SOL in that department. But dang, all three of those guys tried so hard to get her to submit. Wasn’t going to happen. But it was so much fun trying. That spice was hot. All four of them were fire. I absolutely devoured this one.

What the hell did I just read?

Nope! This was so confusing! I have no idea what was happening from one moment to the next and it made zero sense that the main female character went from 0 to 1000 in the saying she was going to defy anything people said, to telling people to take all her holes at once! It made no sense at all. I would highly UN – recommend this to everyone! I am glad this was free because I would be getting a refund. I don’t know what the author was trying to say through the characters but the thoughts were all over the place and weren’t explained at all. This book needs a hell of a lot more work before it’s ready to be published. Everything could’ve been wrapped up in one single chapter. I hated all of the characters too! Just no!!

Too much spanking, they beat / r*pe human women basically for no reason and our heroine is special because she likes that.

There's some sort of bland sci-fi political intrigue plot in the background but that can't save this trainwreck. The male leads have no personality aside from belting women and being "super hot masculine alphas" and the heroine is nothing but a needy, horny recipient of their attentions. I wouldn't even call this a romance, there's barely any interaction between the heroine and the males and none of them seem to even like each other, lust aside. DNF

I really liked this Dark Sci-Fi Read. The Centurions have conquered Earth and now men are forced to work and unable to marry or have children. Women are forced to breed. Felicity was raised in a camp and claimed by Voltar, Koltar and Degan. Will she accept her fate or rebel? This is a fast-paced read with loads of twists and turns, lots of drama and plenty of steam. I was hooked from beginning to end. Entertaining!

Confusing

This book needs a new editor. There are so many typos and timeline issues that it's hard to keep up with. The first chapter, Felicity meets the aliens for the first tume , then in the second chapter (2 weeks later) she meets then for the first time again. It bounces around too much and I couldn't keep up. It didn't hold my attention because I was so confused. I couldn't finish. This is not what I've come to expect from Piper Stone. Very disappointed.

Pets for the Aliens

This story starts off a bit confusing. There are so many visions, premonitions, and dreams, oh and memories that it's hard to figure out what is going on... I kinda wish I had skipped the first chapter it confused me so much. I even went back thinking it was about the hybrid who attacked her but no I guess its a premonition... the story does get better though from chapter two it starts to make sense although premonitions and dream memories do keep popping up. It is an entertaining Alien reverse harem story with shades of Spanking and other BDSM.

There's just something so exciting about these alien warriors that I find so enticing. And the interactions that they have with Felicity are hot and steamy. But added to that is the underlying storyline of a future Earth and their place with in the universe. There are secrets and intrigues that put Felicity and her future masters in danger. It's a fast paced hot and steamy adventure that's full of action and adventure. What an exciting read!.

Insanely GREAT

Piper's stories are absolutely Amazing. This story was about aliens coming to Earth looking for breeding pairs. There's one girl who doesn't want to follow all the rules, so she goes hunting out in the woods to get more food for her family. She gets attacked by this really bad guy who likes to brand the females he grabs. But, she gets away and ends up picked to be sent to the aliens who have the lottery. Thanks again Piper, I truly enjoyed reading this story and hope that this is just the first in a series.

This one I'm giving 2 stars to.
It started off in Chapter 1 half way through the story and was confusing, as it then went back to before the happenings in C 1.

The story seemed not to know if it wanted to be a BDSM, or post Earth Invasion.
To me it became a jumble of both, not clearly or well done, and I skipped much of it
Characters changed views far to quickly and that became confusing, I kept feeling huh.

So onto the next book.

Dark and Dirty

Another very good adventure Sci-Fi Romance with very dark overtones. I always have to question if the degree of turn on by the MFC is really a reality for some women, since it would never be a turn on for me! If you like dark romance mixed with intrigue, that this story is for you.

It's called a reverse harem but it really read like a M/F romance. I feel like the other guys were added to the mix to make it more kinky. The bond between Felicity and Voltar was strong and they are the two characters that we see the story being told by.

This book is everything I have come to expect from a Piper Stone book....a Piper Stone book with 3 very alpha aliens and 1 very strong human female. Voltar, Kodroth and Degan are Centurions who now rule the planet. Humans have been relegated to camps. The humans serve a variety of purposes to the Centurions. In turn, the Centurions more or less protect the human camps from marauders who threaten the the humans almost peaceful truce with the Centurions. Part of the payment for their protection, every six months females are selected via lottery to become the property of the aliens and provide them with children. Felicity is having none of this so when she is selected, she does not go willingly. But when you have 3 against 1 all bets are off. These three have no qualms about disciplining her as needed and trust me, she seems to need it quite a lot. Felicity is not one to learn her lesson after one time. But then when your body rebels against your mind, the battle may be lost. And just when you think all is well and resolved, the authors throws in a little twist. In the end, the simple concept of owners and their pet changes to something much more. Because while they may be strong alpha aliens, their hearts are soon committed to their mate. And once Felicity stops fighting her heart and body she soon becomes committed to them.
This is a hot and steamy read with a good plot and like I said, a small plot twist near the end that changes everything.

The story is set in the future, 50 years from an alien conquest. People live in colonies run by the aliens and they struggle. The only way for the colony to succeed is to have their women get chosen in the alien breeding lottery. But it's not all it seems to be and it's not random.
A chosen woman becomes a pet, a slave to do with as the aliens please. She's matched with not just one, but three gorgeous alien males. They like their rules and breaking them meets with a punishment, every time.
It's a very sexy and very intriguing story. It keeps us in suspense for a while until things become clear.
Highly recommend.

I first read this a while ago under the previous title of Harvest and was super excited to be able to read it again under the new title.
In a futuristic setting earth is under the law of the Centurians and humans are in captivity kept in compounds the men used as workers and the women to become pets to the Centurians.
Felicity is a warrior in her own right slipping out to hunt and provide for her family and is against all that is the upcoming feast/lottery and being at an age that Felicity is to become part of the lottery prize.
Voltar and his second Kodrath are set to become Felicity’s masters but when Deagan also joins the trio things begin to get really spicy…with secrets and betrayal in the background plot threatening the future of the group coming to a head definitely made this a hot fast paced read…

She ends up as a breeder for three aliens, Voltar, Kodroth and Degan. She can’t seem to stay out of trouble with them. She won’t be able to sit for weeks. I couldn't put it down! I am going to be sleepy at work tomorrow, but it is worth it to read this story. This is an awesome story! You have got to read it! The world building is fantastic. The characters are fantastic! You see what is happening from mainly the main hero and heroines view and all the different emotions that everyone goes through. It is a futuristic Earth where the aliens, Centurions, took over. The remaining humans live in colonies around the world, but not close to each other. The Centurions are mainly males with just a few very weak females. They need human females to have children. Apparently the hybrid children are even stronger and have more powers that pure Centurions. They guard the colonies along with some humans that work with them. In some ways, the colonies are really just breeding farms. The females, when they get to a certain age, if they are healthy and viable, are put into a sweep stake to see which females will go to the next triad. When they are matched up, the new family are sent back to their home planet. Some would really call the females pets verses a mate. The aliens are very disciplinary. Plenty of punishments for any infractions.

Felicity is our human heroine. She is of age to be in the sweep stakes, yet it seems that there haven't been anyone chosen from their colony. When a female is chose from a colony, the whole colony benefits with better food and supplies. She is the oldest of two daughters, and her scientist father raised her more like a boy. He taught her how to fight with weapons and to hunt. She has found a place that the security is kind of week and can slip out there to go hunting for food. One time while out hunting, she was captured by human marauders but she was able to escape. She never told her parents about it. It is just before the big Feast, when they chose a female for the lucky triads, and she slips out because a group of marauders is outside their colony and is attacking them. She goes out to try to get them to leave when she realizes that there are eight of them with one of her with her crossbow and arrows. After taking down one guy, she runs into a group of Centurians. Even though she calls them monsters, she can't help to be drawn to the biggest one. She even has daydreams and fantasies about him. She doesn't want to participate with the Feast and sweep stake, but her family forces her to go. Yes, she is the one. When she is standing in the circle of viable females and the guys walk up, she walks up to him like in a daze, and he to her.

Voltar, Kodroth and Degan are the Centurians that are to be her owners/mates. From the first time Voltar saw her, he was drawn towards her. He had watched her several times when she would sneak out of her colony but standing in front of her, she is a spitfire! She will be a handful for whichever male is fortunate enough to get her. He is the captain there watching out mainly for her colony, but he is also sent there for a special secret mission. He is to capture the head of the human marauders. He knows about the guy, but is ordered not to tell anyone. Kodroth is his second in command and is attracted to Felicity too when he first meets her. He is the more romantic of her owners. Degan knew Voltar when they were younger and were quite opposits. Degan is the son of a High Councilman, spoiled and such. He is sent to Earth to take Voltar's place as head man in charge, and he knows even more about the man Voltar is after.

I am not typically drawn to Sci-fi stories, but I was hooked by Felicity's fire from the beginning. I loved her fire and stubbornness in protecting her family and the colony. Voltar's stern controlling nature attracted Felicity.
Voltar knows there is something else going on when Degan arrives at the colony. He is joined in his suspicions by his friend Kodroth.
Voltar is matched with Felicity in the lottery for females. He is joined by his two comrades.
The story takes a twist when they discover Felicity came into contact with Zayn the demon.
There is plenty of attraction between the four of them, but the story takes a twist when Felicity is taken hostage by Zayn when they are on board their spaceship. She is rescued by the three men which binds their attraction.
This story had intrigue, suspense and betrayal coupled with intense attraction between all the characters. Pure fantasy for sure, but well worth reading.

Felicity finds herself as part of the lottery and discovers that one of the three Centurions to claim her is the one who punished her for leaving the colony to try and stop the marauders. With lots of intense punishment and sex, Felicity discovers a bond with the men but there is more going on behind the scenes and her past is about to catch up with her.

A story that you won't be able to put down and has all that you would expect from Piper Stone and more.
