The Parallel Nazi #4

Inconsequential Nazi

Rate this book
Heinrich Schloss has achieved a measure of peace and prosperity in the Third Reich. He hopes to continue that state of affairs so that he can deal with other issues left over from the evil men who preceded him. The relationship between Germany and the United States approaches something like friendship while the British have not decided where they stand. The sullen beat of war drums from the East breaks opens a time of uncertainty for Schloss and his government. They must determine when and if Stalin will invade, and they must also determine how to defend against the onslaught. This fourth book of the Parallel Nazi saga continues the story of a man pulled from a different time and universe to confront the evil that sat astride Berlin.

Can You Say Deus Ex Machina?

I started out really enjoying this series, but the storyline is now choke full of scenarios where one of the characters gets into an impossible situation and, and they are miraculously saved This is due to either extremely poor writing or a complete lack of imagination. I have also noticed an increase in typos, grammatical errors and just downright errors errors in this book. The only reason for a rating of three stars is because I am curious as to how the series will turn out…and I already bought the entire series…sometimes I am REALLY dumb.

Schloss in book 4

This year is told from simultaneous points of view, mainly in Germany, England, the USA, Japan, and Russia. Plots and strategies form diplomatic policies that get increasingly complex and intense. Frau Marsden lends her positive influence and gives hope in this dangerous time for Herr Schloss.

Realistic alternative history

This is by far the best alternative series I have read. The politics and personalities are what I would consider very plausible. A great job by the author !

Book Four f the series.

I am sad to report I found this novel somewhat of a let down after the superb third novel. That being said I am taking a short break before moving on to the fifth novel.

Another great book in this series

With our known history completely shattered the story is now all hypothetical but very believable. An exceptionally good piece of alternative history.

This book and series keeps you reading. Because I discovered this series recently, I have more books to read and I do not have to wait a year between them. Actually I don't know how long it takes the author to write the next one and get it published. The Parallel Nazi events just keep rolling along. It does help I have studied World War II in some detail, so I have some knowledge of the historical characters. Playing with history this way is fun!. This book and series are recommended, just realize it is best to start at the start and not jump in the middle.

Excellent Series

I have really been enjoying the Inconsequential Nazi series. These are well written, thought provoking and downright fun to read. This series involves a unique story line that puts the main character in the middle of making history.
