Ok seriously, HOW IS EVERYONE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS SERIES?!
If Rick Riordan decided to write a series geared towards upper YA/NA and above, he could totally come ask Jax Garren for advice because she is crushing this so hard! The plot to the Godstones series is so freaking unique and captivating - this full, creative, detailed, one of a kind plot and yet Garren writes it so well that slipping into and following the story is effortless and familiar. And good lord is this series funny!
These books are fast-paced and action packed, hilarious with the perfect dash of sweetness. And angsty with heaps of to-die-for will-they-wont-they and secret identities. Rafael and Giselle make me want to knock them upside the head and hold them all at once. They are the most endearing yet frustrating main characters ever and I adore them.
If you love seeing ancient mythology, mysticism and magic blended into the modern world of rockstars, college parties, and life on the streets, you will love The Godstones Series.

AHHHHHH there's only two!!! I need the next twenty. Oh my gosh I'm going to reread. What beautiful, intricate, exciting stories!! The pace... the tension... the beautifully flawed characters!! Amazing!!!
For real, I need them to be straight with each other or I may throttle them, but I can be patient!! Maybe!! Gah!!!
I cannot wait for the next book, I mean I will because I have to, but wow that was wonderful.😍
