All you wanted was a chill, refreshing vacation.

When an early-morning walk lands you in a harsh, frozen world, you're willing to accept any help you can get... even when the only person around who's interested in helping you is Loki, the self-proclaimed 'Rightful King of Jötunheim'.

The problem?

Jötunhein doesn't yet know about their new king, and they aren't going to welcome him with open arms. If you want to survive, you're going to have to stick close to Loki while he attempts to take over the fabled Realm of Giants.

Fanfic so good I forgot it was fanfic and ordered a physical copy. Words cannot convey how perfect this story is, I have not felt so invested and moved by a book in a long time.

Okay, so my thing is, I really liked this but I would’ve loved more interaction with Asgard or Midgard across the story. We got mentions of them but I would’ve loved a lot more interaction with like for all the other avengers or Oden or anyone really just felt a bit disconnected. As a whole the story was beautiful the world building was gorgeous. The characters were amazing, but it just didn’t feel like what I wanted. Ultimately though, it was fucking brittle, had a great plot. Just wish there was a BIT more of a tie in into the whole MCU <3
