Chasing Texas
A confederate war soldier, Ezequiel McDaniel returns home to a wore torn Alabama. He quickly realizes after all the death and destruction of the last five years they no longer have a future there. "Zeke" as he is known, has an army buddy from Texas who has convinced him to pack up his family and move to the Texas Hill Country. Zeke his wife, son and a freed slave named Marcus soon set out on the dangerous journey through Mississippi, Louisiana and East Texas only to find more problems and danger when they reach the western edge of the Hill country. Zeke soon joins forces with a long lost nephew and his friends to stand and fight for what is theirs.
