Blood and gore and then more gore and blood! This book, this series isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, the clue is in the title – Extreme Horror. This author has a way of making what in reality would be obnoxious and sickening, in her books and the world she has created the events are intriguing and mesmerizing. I really can’t get enough of this author, absolutely brilliant!

A new level of crazy

So this takes brutality to a totally new level of depravity. Well done Sea Cummisar. These two characters raise the bar for splatter punk.

Sea Caummisar's 'Damon Dahmer and Sly Verdict 1' brings together two characters from separate series in a crossover scenario. Although I hadn't read their individual series, there was a brief introduction explaining who these two men are, which I thought was a wonderful idea to give the readers a look into Damon and Sly before they meet them.

Both men enjoy torment, pain, and killing. When their paths cross while on a run in Mexico from their past crimes there's almost this 'boys' weekend mentality where Damon wants to impress Sly with the games he likes to play with prostitutes, and Sly is thrilled to have a fellow comrade with similar interests to hang out with. However while these two are enjoying their darker natures, Damon's wife and Sly's friend/sheriff, haven't stop searching for them. Will a P.I manage to track them down before they leave a pile of bodies behind?

I enjoyed the story, found it interesting and wanted to know why these men did the cruel things they did. The only issue I had with the writing was at times sentences felt repetitive and occasionally the story was more 'tell' instead of 'show'. Other than that the concept was definitely intriguing enough to keep me reading.

As the author informs the readers, this book contains gore, torture, murder, and gritty scenes that are not suitable for everyone. It can contain triggers for some, and readers should take the warning seriously before reading.

Watch out, Mexico... things are about to get messy!

I loved both of the series - Damon Dahmer and his Pain For Gain show, and Sly Verdict, balancing the scales of justice to those he sees fit, while building an empire, and trying to deal with his love life...
I don't know which I like better, (gun to my head,
I'd say Damon Dahmer), but putting them together is pure genius!

Another Banger

Loved it. The crossover between stories was done nicely. It really ended on a cliffhanger for everyone too! I was going to take a break from Sea and read something more tame but who am I kidding? The only thing I'm about to do is read the next book!!! As always, great read :)

Worth the Read

I have enjoyed all of this author's books. She is not afraid to push the limits and she does so in the book. Her pursuit of blood gore and guts leave me wanting more.
Damon and Sly are two peas in a pod and I can't wait to see how the second book plays out.

What a brilliant horror gorefest this is!
I don't know how but the author has mangaged to get these two even worse than before!
Brilliant well written plot and story line.
Amazing fleshed out characters that you love to hate and follow.
Filled with the best horror and gore I have read in a long time.
Can't wait to continue the gorefest in the next one!

This is a very gory, horrific book and I loved it. I do love horror and although blood and guts in real life do not amuse me, in books I find it fascinating. The author is careful to warn what is in the book so anyone not liking this type of book should refrain from reading this! Otherwise, if you are like me, this is fantastic!
