Appreciate the author’s dedication to the situation im Hong Kong. It’s also interesting to see how foreigners view the protests. However, I have to say I find the content slightly superficial, especially when it comes to the motivations for clashes with the police and why the movement has longevity. All in all, a book for non-locals to get an overview of the first half year of social unrest, and a book for locals to see the protest from a different angle.
