Mandi Oyster has done it again by bringing her novel to life! Just like the last book, everything played in my head like a movie. Oyster has vivid imaginary and enticing new characters! I felt this one was a bit repetitive but it was such a great read and I can't wait to crack open the next one.

The last time we checked, Dacia Wolf was a part of a prophecy and she is destined to save the world. Now that she has embraced her destiny, she is knee deep into the magical world of dragons and magic princes. When her relationship with Cody is threatened because of some Dragon Lord, Dacia now stands a lot to lose.

After a very hectic week, returning to the world of Dacia Wolf was a very good thing for me. I read this book a couple months back but I have to admit, I am writing this review after reading the book for a second time.

The cover of the book is vibrant and beautiful, just like the first one. The storyline moved forward at a steady pace and the world building of the author was highly commendable. I could feel myself being a part of the world of Dacia and Cody.

The plot was beautiful and the story line was different yet same! The flow of the book was phenomenal and it kept me bouncing at the edge of my seat throughout.

The characters in this novel came a long way. I liked how Cody and Dacia fought through all the ups and downs in their relationship. I adored how the secondary characters, Samantha and Dan were given equal importance.

Other than that, the climax of the book leaves the reader begging and pleading for more. Honestly, there is no going back once you have started reading the novel.

I want this book to become a major series or movie franchise soon! Please!

Mandi Oyster unpacks another wonderful read, showcasing her skills as a terrific writer, and building upon Dacia's world in a wonderful, fantastical way: Here there be dragons! (Because, c'mon, who doesn't love dragons?) Dacia faces a new foe in the form of a wizard who can control the fiery beasties - and they're out for blood!

It was great to return to this well-structured world! I will confess, due to the nature of Dacia's surroundings (college campus) and pretty consistent dream threats, the pace does get bogged down with a kind of sameness. Hopefully future books will expand things to keep the pace fresh. My only other major gripe is the wizard's predictable dialogue (but hey, evil speech is hard to get right and keep from being cliche).

I loved the tension and character growth, especially for Dacia and her friends. You get to see more of Samantha and Dan, which adds to the dimension of the story. Cody remains boyfriend goals. The new character, Aurelia, is equally well developed. And Dacia grows a lot and suffers a lot (and definitely develops PTSD. Those dreams are intense!). I love a protagonist with human flaws and believable struggles to overcome. Dacia Wolf delivers!

I'm excited to carry on with the next book!

Like the first one, I read this book multiple times. The characters have become family to me. I take them with me wherever I go, hoping they will let me know what their next adventure will be.

Thank you to the Author for the book in exchange for an honest review.

I had read the first book in the series and absolutely fell in love with it. I raved about this book for a few days to some other friends.

I was so excited the Author approached me about reading book 2 because, let's be honest, who doesn't want to return to this world after reading book 1?

The characters are so well developed, even the new ones that are brought in. These characters are formed to where you can imagine being friends with them or seeing them out in the real world. The author does an amazing job at that!

The pacing of the book is very good, you don't feel like things are rushed or going too slow.

I love Dacia, she is amazing, embracing her destiny, trying to navigate this magical world all while struggling with real life problems. She is not perfect and she does have things to work out like any human would have in their day to day life.

I can't wait to continue this series, the author has me hooked on Dacia's world!

We are back in Dacia's world for more wonderful development of her relationship with Cody and her friends, and a ton more fun with magic and dragons! I LOVE Cody. He just remains my favorite and the treatment of their romance is handled so well by the author. The college age and setting might mislead some to think this is going to be part of the new "NA" trend with YA books, but that is totally not the case, which I appreciate. This book is quite suitable for a younger audience (and though I am no longer that age myself, I know I would've enjoyed this growing up).

"Youth is full of questions no matter the species."

Just one quote from the book that stuck with me. And I think sums up some of the themes in Dacia's second book. She is dealing with supernatural threats and life and death occurrences, but with all the emotions and highs/lows we have to go through as youth. It just adds to the story and makes for a wonderful read.

Read this one after only a week between reading book 1.
Its incredible how much farther the story goes, how much more the world opens up, and yet how the great writing style remains the same for this book. The quality of writing is never substituted for more story of Dacia.

I had a good time with this one even more than the first, which I enjoyed as well. The fantasy is heightened and now because we know the character a bit we are able to dive deeper quicker.

It's paced will and avoids the lulls in the middle of the book. The main thing M.Oyster hits is the description of Dacia. She's relatable, which is touch in first person. Often cheesy or odd thinking, I didn't get that vibe from the MC. Her thoughts made sense to her, her surroundings, and the flow.

A great series and I'll be jumping into book 3 soon.

Oyster has done it again! This is another fabulous book that follows Dacia who is now faced with the dangerous and powerful dragon lord.

I loved returning to Dacia’s world and catching up with the characters from book one. The characters in this series are so well written you can’t help but be invested in their lives. In this book we get to see Dacia’s powers develop when she meets the mysterious Aurelia, which turns her into a down right badass! It was great to see Dacia’s confidence develop as a result of this.

Again, I absolutely cannot fault the writing style in this book. It was easy to read and understand which is something I really value in a book. I can’t wait to follow Dacia’s story in book three and see what her and her friends get up to.

I would recommend this book to YA fantasy lovers.

Good versus evil theme.
This is the second installment of the Dacia Wolf Series.
I loved Dacia and The Prophecy so I was excited to read the next book in the series.

After her last encounter with Nefarious Dacia, our Main Character, thought things would go back to normal. However, Draconian, the Dragon Lord, had a different idea.

He wanted Nefarious’ power and the only one who could give him that was Dacia. Things became more and more difficult for our main character and her friends as the story moved forward.

Brilliant character development. I continued to love Cody's love for Dacia and how much she loves him through this book, as for all her friends, the author gives them an auric mystical description that gave me the warm fuzzies. I just loved it!

Also, the author introduces here new and interesting friends from a mythical realm that made this story so much more exciting. There is a Pegasus and many dragons. The landscaping and description are dreamy.

I like how Dacia's new mysterious mentor approached her. One would think having powers and a good teacher the entire plot would be solved in 1-2-3 but there are so many twists and unforeseen turns that took me for a wild ride.

Although the struggles for her are difficult, her premonitions and dreams came with a very high price tag. Higher stakes were at play in this book. Life and death.

I don't want to spoil the story for you but I have to say I couldn't put the book down.

Dacia's journey of discovery and trials captured my imagination once again.

The book is well written with no grammatical errors. This is a very clean and entertaining fantasy story. I highly recommend it for young teens, your adults, or just young at heart.

I am already looking for the next adventure.
