He started a feud and she's about to make sure he regrets the day they met.
When Jo met Zac Dawson it was hate at first sight. The man is the reason she was arrested for crying out loud. Boy, please. Don't mess with a woman from Boston.
Now, her community service means working for her new nemesis! Someone bring the aspirin; this is going to be a long month.
Zac didn't want to be strapped to the woman who nearly pulverized his livelihood.
He didn't even want to call the cops until she shot off her feisty mouth; a man has his pride to keep and all.
The trouble starts when Jo shows a softer side. Oh, and his heart-of-gold mama is convinced she's something special. The beautiful felon is kind of witty and seems to be hiding something inside, but admitting he's falling is out of the question.
If you love swoon-worthy southern guys and the sassy women who hold their hearts come fall in love in When We Met. Guaranteed laugh-out-loud fun, toe-curling kisses, and southern charm that will leave you grinnin' like a preacher in church.
Josephine Graham and Zac Dawson hated each other at first sight. Their two personalities clashed instantly. Of course it didn’t help that Jo crashed into Zac’s place of business. Or that he pressed charges that caused her to serve four weeks of community service at Zac’s Auto Repair. I found it hilarious the way Zac and Jo insulted each other and it only made them more stubborn. Then slowly Jo came to love the town, love Zac’s friends and family, and lastly Zac himself. I loved the cast of characters in this story. They were delightful and well fleshed out so you would recognize them as one of your own family and friends. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and witnessing Jo and Zac’s slow burn romance. Loved the HEA. I have read most of the books by this author and found each one of them greatly entertaining. l received this book as an ARC copy at no cost by this author and this is my honest review. I’m anxiously looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
The thin line between love and late just disappeared in this fantastic story misunderstanding and preconceived ideas. Josephine, Jo has had a bad day, and a worse night when she crashes into some old gas pumps at a repair shop. Worse still, the owner calls the cops because she tried to leave after saying she would pay. Of course she is snapping at people! Zac can’t believe this arrogant woman who just trashed his shop thinks she can belittle him, his business, and his town. Does she think he owes her a break? When Jo gets community service after Zac presses charges, they end up spending a lot of time together. Can they actually make this work. I received a free ARC copy of this book, and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Finding herself stuck in Hickville USA she has no idea what she’s in for and it wont get better if she doesn’t watch her mouth. It’s not her fault that the broody man pushes all her buttons. What starts off as an enemy of my enemy changes but she still has to leave. The chemistry between these two is felt from the start and with a few important obstacles this new group of friends may only be temporary. Great enemies to friends to lover’s book. This author has quickly become one of my go to authors for good clean excitement and action, while letting my imagination free with what goes on behind doors. Love this group of friends and the mother that keeps them all in line.
When We Met is Jo and Zac's story. Talk about a meet cute! However, they were both extremely irritated. I loved all the banter when they were hating on each other. I also enjoyed their softer sides as they fall in love. I hope I do not have to "pick a favorite scene" from this one because it would be impossible. Once I started reading, I did not get mush else done until I got to the end. I am so glad there are more books to come!
When Jo is driving through ba hick town, she nearly runs out of gas and crashes her car. Zack sees that his business has been hit by a car and calls the police when the driver wants to flee. Jo gets community service and has to work at Zach's shop. I loved the previous book in this series and iblove thus book!
I'm so glad I ordered this book after seeing it by mistake. For once, a man not afraid to say to a women how he is feeling, so refreshing instead of playing games. Loved all the side characters too and just ordered Dot's story. Another good author to follow.
