This one was just like the rest. Not that good. The same issues as far as too many commas, misspellings and overall contradictions were in the entire series. Truthfully, I wasn’t a fan of it at all. There were frame filled parts, but the writing style and dialogue was juvenile. My issues with this part below.
*When Mehzani brought the kids to the hospital to see Zuri after she had the baby, she ending up leaving by herself. Then Brick and Janae left with Bre, but left LJ at the hospital, so who was supposed to watch the boy while Zuri laid in the hospital? He was left unattended. Smh
*Gucci went from not being able to talk, to speaking in full sentences almost immediately. That wasn’t realistic at all.
*The Spanish speaking was annoying and should have been written in parentheses to show exactly what they were saying. With Brick paraphrasing wasn’t enough. It would have been nice to know EXACTLY what was said. *What was Bricks beef with Marco? It came out of the blue and I had no idea why other than he wanted his territory.
*At the end Zena acted as if Mahzani wasn’t her daughter as well after she hurt Zuri. That made no sense. They were both her kids, but she acted like Zuri was her only child.
Things were so Unrealistic. Everyone was way too forgiving to Brick after they found out what happened to Legend. Zuri got over it, but she was madder than Zena, who was Legend’s mother. She basically said “Charge it to the game,” and moved on. Smh Then they made Mahzani out to be the bad guy when she was right in her feelings. Brock didn’t not have to do what he did to Legend.
Overall this wasn’t my cup of tea, it I had to finish the series because it was something I needed to do. I don’t think I would read from this author again.

Whoooooaaa
This was my first series by this author, but it won’t be the last! The entire storyline build on after each page. There was no stone left un turned! Zuri was getting on my nerves with all that crying but I guess she had her reason. The ending really caught me by surprise! This is definitely a must read!!

What a rollercoaster!!

Truly a rollercoaster of events. What a tangled weave! Zuri done killed Deja’s ass! All because she was impatient, she cost herself to go into labor. Thankfully junior was ok because I don’t think she would have lived to tell the tale. Granted, I too felt like Brick should have chosen a better place and time to tell Zuri about Janae, but Zuri really overreacted. Skeet was playing a dangerous game knowing how Brick was, but how do you control who you love? I’m just glad he wasn’t on no fuck boy shit! I feel as though Brick should have been told Zuri about Legend. It was like only because Gucci was forcing his hand was why he said something. I cried when I read he was trying to commit suicide. I’m still thinking how the family tree is all connected and people were just coming out of the woodworks left, right and center. At the end of the day, I’m just glad that it all worked out for coop and Tamia, janae and Skeet and Zuri and Brick! Thank goodness that perverted asswipe is gone! Even after all of that, he was still on some ‘Zuri belongs to me bs’! He got just what he deserved! Awesome read and looking forward to Janae and Skeet’s story 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Another amazing book
Let me start out by saying this was a good read and it definitely gets five stars. I feel Luke Brick really should have left Gucci alone like you already tried to kill the man once. Mehzani had every right to be upset with Zuri like how can you take up for a man literally kill your brother and lie about why he did it. I'm sorry wouldn't have taking Brick back after that. Skeet is a hot mess but I'm glad he got himself together. Coop and his love life was a mess. I still don't trust timia because something wasn't right about her and that phone situation. Overall this was a good read

Awesome
Destiny Skai didn’t disappoint with this entire series it was fire from book 1 to book 4 and I can’t wait to read more about the Ricardo clan. Girl you got me at the end when Brick tries to kill himself. Good read with a lot of twists and turns around every corner. Good job Destiny Skai.

Explosively Good
This book had me on the edge from the very beginning. The way Zuri and Brick met was meant to be. It’s crazy how things between them started and now they have a complete family. She did forgive him for Legends death and I guess that was only right since she was responsible for Deja’s demise. This series was action packed. I just could not put it down.

Thankfully I was able to read one after the other. I loved Brick and Zuri. My only issue is not including how Danielle got caught in her lies.
