Since this was originally published in 1975 our Global Situation has grown increasingly worse. Greenhouse gas emission's and other pollutants coupled with sea level rise threaten life as we know it here on Earth. The greatest cause of greenhouse gas is the practice of raising cattle for slaughter and human consumption; it is also the number one cause of groundwater depletion and an inefficient use of valuable agricultural lands. Animal slaughter and meat eating is not only barbaric, it is also unhealthy and creates disease and immeasurable harm to the human body. Science and industry are easily in reach of viable solutions to this as well as alternatives for clean energy and less pollution. Unless the world's leaders take serious action now we are headed for more catastrophic events and increased suffering. Our future generations will pay the price. It is hoped that the topics discussed in this booklet will offer some basis and guidelines for a clear way forward and a return to a simple and self sufficient way of life. Thank you.
