I was enjoying the series until I got to the chickens. The plots and settings of most of the stories were refreshing and unexpected. The characters were interesting and appealing. I would have liked more comprehensive resolutions though; some of the stories didn't feel finished. I did find the one about chickens, ghosts, breasts, and dentures disgusting and disappointing. The author of this story used deus ex machine to the extreme and not in a good way.

not what I expected

I really did expect more heroines with fabulous jobs and bad attitudes, but this was more small town romance. Lots of cure stories, but I don’t think the books lived up to the crazy or wonderful title

The very first story starts with a cheating husband. And then there's an angel, a ghost, cupid, and chickens. I just couldn't keep going with each story getting progressively worse than the one before it.
