Does exactly what it says on the tin

Does exactly what it says on the tin. An easy and simple read of how to grow on LinkedIn with some extremely valuable nuggets of info you'd probably only learn through grinding for months/years otherwise

This is one of the best books I have read on social media traction with LinkedIn. What makes this book worth reading is how Sam ties LinkedIn with new sales generation. LinkedIn has become the one of the best ways to bring new sales in to an organization, and Sam does a fantastic job tying prospecting with LinkedIn.
Easy to read, all content, with some incredible resource links that are of incredible value to the reader, this is the book to get moving on new business development- if you are building a business, this is a great book to get moving!

Beyond a primer

Disclosure: I know the author, but that’s why I read the book, not why I have it five stars.

I’ve been using LinkedIn for years and read a few books on the topic. I thought I was pretty good at it and in some instances I was right - my SSI score (read the book!) was 73 which is fine.

Even so, by the time I’d finished this book I’d changed about four things on my profile and altered a couple of habits, literally today I found a couple of potentially important connections of whom I’d been unaware and had my requests to connect accepted by them.

There’s always going to be more to learn and LinkedIn is going to continue evolving. Don’t get me wrong, this book is terrific for the beginner - but that’s not me and I still found actionable, valuable points.

Highly recommended.

Best book for Linkedin Growth!

If you want to be effective, use LinkedIn. This book is for you.
- Sam Rathling explained every topic in such a simple way.
- how should your profile be?
- she's touched 1. Characteristics 2. Alternative 3. Pain Point 4. Symptoms.
- she tells the importance of SSI (SOCIAL SELLING INDEX)
- 3 to 6 months are enough for your LinkedIn growth.
- 8 strategies that sam's telling are worth.
- we need to stay consistent and apply all that she teaches in this book!

Highly recommend you to read this book. To change your linked journey forever.

Concise, eye opening & motivating !

Great easy readable book which got straight to the point but whilst explaining the theory behind everything . Great examples given as well as actions at the end of each chapter as “takeaways” which got you thinking . Impressed and a real eye opener leaving me excited to go try all the ideas that I truly believe will bring me successful results!

Don’t judge me, I’M AN IMPORTANT BUSINESS MOGUL.

The author is far too “Rah rah Gary Vaynerchuk” for me, but the advice is sound — consolidates HOURS of LinkedIn “coaching sessions” and YouTube videos into a 40-minute blitz speedread. I am grateful to her for her brevity.

Minus points for how much she bragged about how expensive she is now.

Also annoying that literally all the links are broken 😂

But 5-stars for usefulness!

Comprehensive and Solid process to grow on LinkedIn

Sam has created a great LinkedIn process in this book. She gives plenty of examples and information to choose from in each part of the process. I’m confident it works because it’s already worked for me. Read this book if you’d like to learn how to leverage LinkedIn the right way.

More like a weak lead magnet than a book

This is very salesy unfortunately. There is some useful information in the book but it's a scan read lacking in deep actionable advice. Pity. A missed opportunity.

I've been on LinkedIn since the very beginning so I've been using it to leverage my connections and develop my brand & professional 'point of view' for a long time. LinkedIn Inbound has taken that to a whole new level - it's absolutely jam-packed with useful nuggets from getting your profile really working for you right through to understanding the principles of Social Selling and the 12 types of content that will take you from interesting to influencer, and position you as the obvious choice for your potential clients, partners and stakeholders.

I couldn't recommend LinkedIn Inbound more highly. It's a veritable gold-mine that I will be revisiting again and again. 5-stars.

It is a great book for those who want to get started with LinkedIn. I knew a lot of things already since I have created my personal brand on LinkedIn but there were a few new things also. Waiting for the author's next book.

This book has a powerful system

This book has solid techniques for getting leads on LinkedIn. The author has a clear framework for how to build a sales pipeline using LinkedIn.

Plenty of relevant content and specific guidance

I like and use LinkedIn but this book has reiterated that I can always learn more and get more out of it

Of all the books I've read on social selling this has made the most sense. No secret formulas, strategies or hard to understand tactics, just straight forward usable advice. Time, commitment and application from this book is a winning formula.
