This was a stellar example of why I have been seeking out these dark Mafia romances. Full of brooding, dangerous undertones as Lucas and Emily’s relationship continued with a potential murder conviction hanging over his head.
Kudos to this talented author in the way the storyline took off immediately with the clever way the word “Married” was used when Lucas wrote it on his exit paperwork.
Little snippets of creative writing was used throughout this book making it an exemplary read! If you like dark Mafia romances, do yourself a favor and read this one!!

Man, I love this one. What a damn ride for sure, can’t wait to read about some of the other characters.

Luca definitely stole my heart with this. He’s so... ughhh, no words explain him other than sweet. You think he’s not and then he goes and does something unbelievably sweet and you end up swooning.

And other authors.. take note. This is how you write a strong-ass female lead. Emily stood her ground yet she knew when to actually listen.

This is book three in the Baressi series and continues in the same excellence of story and characters as the first two books. Emily and Luca’s relationship continues to evolve with some major changes. The story is very interesting with action, danger, deceit, betrayal, and of course hot romance. Excellent read!

Absolutely amazing, loved this from the start, Emily couldn't have known how much her life would change, after Luca, he didn't take prisoners he devoured them, but now Emily will do all she can for her man, and Luca will always protect his woman. Top marks I voluntarily reviewed this book

Book 3 in this series and it picks up where the last book left off. Hitting the ground running and didnt let up in its fast pace for start to finish. Luca & Emily (FMC) are in the middle of a murder case where Luca is the one getting charged and theres only one way out. Not one that you'd expect either. These two characters are just pure fire together. Its not just in the sexy times (which are hotter than hot!) but its in the banter and the quiet times too. This book is one chocked full of betrayal, secrets as well as love and family. Its not just the main characters that make the series though. I loved Dante (as always), Noemi was a breath of fresh air, Royce was his usual bubbly self and im dying to read more about Diego. Im just loving this series so much. Its one hell of a read

I have to ask is there any chance that Mike will get a certain lady? I really love how paternal he is to Luca and the family. Id love him to get a little love

Omg what a ride

This is the last book in the POV of Emily and Luca. I went thru a ride with this one.. moments where i wanted to scream, cry and laugh. The Betrayal felt real to me and i felt it.. This book is a good stand off point for the characters. Im just thankful its not a final good bye, we will she them in the next installment with Dantes story so you should definitely keep reading 😉

WOW just WOW ! This one will leave you shocked and possibly crying. Oh but you’ll be cussing at your device during the book. You will be on the edge of your seat and the betrayal...man. I mean this series has been EXCEPTIONAL !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS SERIES !!

This trilogy would be so much better if it was condensed into one book. Too much sex, weird unnecessary storylines and characters... Idk I was disappointed overall. They're having sex once a chapter and it just got to be too much. I get it, you like him but... Also we barely learn anything about Emily till the third book. Which is why they should be combined into one.

I’m now a die hard fan of all things Baressi. This entire series was excellent and between the hot action and the hot romance I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. The cliffhanger gives me hope for new and intriguing stories in the Baressi world yet to come.

This is book 3 in the series.
This mafia romance is beyond what I could have imagined. Reading how Emily and Luca’s relationship is continuously tested is a whirlwind. Luca potential incarceration really shakes Emily and is one if the first trials their relationship goes through.
Luca has to get used to being open with Emily and seeing her as an equal who can help him. Emily has to get used to being part of the famiglia (mafia family) and her role in Luca’s life. I loved Emily’s continued being herself and didn’t lose herself in Luca’s world. This book had all that I was looking for: sexual tension, brooding men, and women putting these men in their place.

This is the final book in Emily and Luca's story but not for the Baressi Family. I was blown away by all of the twists, turns, and betrayal. I laughed, cried, raged, and so many other emotions! Lux Miller has outdone herself! I cannot wait to find out about Dante!!!

OMG this story is epic! If you haven't started this series you don't know what you're missing. Surrender is book 3 of the Barresi Crime Family series and continues with Emily and Luca's story and will leave you crying at the end, it is that good. I don't want to mention any spoilers, but I will say that I cannot wait for book 4.

The passion Emily and Luca have for each other is so fantastic! I can’t wait to figure out what happens in the next book!

This entire series was exceptional. The suspense and intrigue were woven into the story seamlessly. Vying for attention with the great love story playing out were the subtle nuances of additional secrets from other characters that may or may not have an impact on the two main characters. The ending was fabulous concluding the story of our favorite couple but hinting at more intrigue through Dante's new life and Luca's cousin. Hopefully the author will provide another series covering each of these characters. I loved this book and this series. Recommend

I found this to be a superb storyline that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout the whole book!

Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in drama and steamy passion and you have a good read.

What a ride!!
I love a good Mafia book, and this was a great book series to read. Great story line, great characters. I have to say that I would love to read the story of Dante and Diego soon!!
Please Lux Miller give us little more of Barresi world!!
