Me ha gustado muchísimo el libro, te cuenta detalles muy interesantes de la peli los cuales te pasan inadvertidos, además te das cuenta del enorme trabajo que hay detrás de esta peli y de cómo todas las personas que trabajan en ella están compenetradas a la perfección 😍😍

Todo aquel que se defina como fan de Harry Potter tuvo que haber visto las dos películas que se han estrenado hasta el momento de Animales Fantásticos y eso me incluye a mí, después cada quien podrá decir si le gustaron o no, en mi caso muy particular puedo asegurar que me gustaron y mucho así es que cuando recibí este libro de parte de HarperCollins México, a quienes agradezco bastante no pude evitar emocionarme porque además en casa no soy el único aficionado de la saga, mi hijo el menor también lo es, así es que nos lanzamos a hojear el libro en cuando lo sacamos de su paquete y los que sean verdaderos fanáticos sabrán entender que la emoción sentida conforme avanzamos las páginas era mayúscula.
El libro está dividido por secciones y en cada sección se repasa a cada uno de los personajes principales de la película y en algunas otras los lugares más representativos donde se desarrolla la historia. Por ejemplo, hay un capítulo para Londres, en otro a París, hay uno incluso para hablarnos sobre el sótano de Newt Scamander, y otro donde nos explica los retos que representó diseñar todo un nuevo conjunto de animales.
Sobre los animales el libro incluye una especie de diccionario con los animales fantásticos que aparecen en la película, nos dice en qué lugar lo vemos y nos da una explicación de qué tipo de animal es con algunas de sus características.
Así pues, en este libro encontraremos y nos daremos cuenta de muchos aspectos que se vieron involucrados en la realización de esta película, se explica en palabras del mismo director por qué se tomaron muchas de las decisiones, me encanta que involucra aspectos más a detalle sobre el carácter y la personalidad de los personajes, que para más de alguno han de pasar desapercibidos cuando se ve la película.
De las cosas que más disfrute de este libro como fan es todo el arte de la película que viene incluido, encontramos muchas ilustraciones de concepto de algunas escenas, así como fotografías tomadas en el set de filmación, algunas incluso mostrando las pantallas verdes con las que se logra mucha de la magia.
Para los amantes del diseño gráfico viene mucha explicación de cómo el equipo de diseño trabajo para ambientar y cuidar hasta el más mínimo detalle de los diferentes escenarios, desde París hasta Londres pasando por el diseño del circo, cuidaron todo, en los carteles por ejemplo usaron técnicas de ilustración de la época en la que está ambientada la película para hacerla aún más fiel y creíble, pensaron en qué tipo de letra y que colores usar, dando como resultado una estupenda ambientación.
Otro de los detalles en los que en ocasiones los espectadores no reparamos a pensar es el diseño del vestuario, por darles un ejemplo, algo que me sorprendió sobremanera es que en el caso de Queenie Goldstein su vestuario incluye un prendedor de mariposa, para serles sincero yo no lo note, sin embargo se incluye con un propósito, y este era para representar la transformación que sufre el personaje de la primer película a la segunda, sorprendente ¿no?
Para cerrar la reseña quiero comentar que sin duda se trata de un libro diferente a los demás que tengo en mi librero y que acostumbro leer, es el primer en su tipo que tengo oportunidad de tener y de disfrutar, me permite como fan de la saga gozar la película más a fondo, conociendo más sobre ella, sobre cómo se hizo y el porqué de muchas cosas, dándole mayor profundidad a la experiencia de ver la película, por lo que de mi parte está más que recomendado, estoy seguro que lo disfrutaran tanto como nosotros, descubriendo los secretos que encierra el cómo se hizo Los crímenes de Grindelwald.

I really wanted to like this book, but in light of recent terrible comments and behaviour from JKR herself, I found myself constantly distracted and annoyed. But that’s totally not fair to the rest of the actors, artists, and production crew who worked so hard to bring this magical and glorious film to life - especially since this book specifically explores the making of the Crimes of Grindelwald, which took far more effort than just one, single, ignorant author. So, on to the book! The author separated topics and subjects by location, a logical enterprise considering that the Crimes of Grindelwald travels far more than the previous film in the series, which was set simply in New York. We travel from chapter to chapter exploring real world locales London and Paris (with a brief stop in New York) and delve into their magical counterparts, with special focus on Newt’s London townhouse and the Circus Arcanus. Of course, we also get to dip back to Hogwarts for some classic wizarding world nostalgia, as Newt’s backstory is explored a little more in depth. Compared to the first Fantastic Beasts film, the Crimes of Grindelwald is a much more complex film simply due to the variety of settings, and in some ways the story gets a little mashed by the constantly changing art direction and overall style, but when considered separately (as the chapters of this book allow you to) the styles become more distinct and can stand on their own as long as you let them. I honestly would have liked to see more of just Paris and London, since these were the new settings to explore and I’m already rather obsessed with them stylistically even without the magic of the wizarding versions, so that was maybe the one major downfall of the book overall. A fun romp through the story, though stylistically a bit weaker and therefore a bit harder to focus on distinctly.

It's a good behind the scenes look at the film, but it's frustratingly brief and oddly scared of spoiling anything (to the degree that the book doesn't ever mention that Nagini is the Maledictus' name - a fact revealed a whole two months prior to the film's. It's still a nice behind the scenes look, though. I just wish it was more detailed and wasn't so scared of spoiling elements of the film; it's a book purporting to be the ultimate behind the scenes guide to the film, being released after the film premieres, but utterly afraid to talk about several elements of the film. Also the book doesn't really have an ending. It just sort of stops, like there was supposed to be a final chapter that wrapped everything up but it was scrapped at the last minute.
All that being said, it's still very informative and very entertaining, featuring quotes from most of the major actors involved, lots of insights from various department heads, and a host of images from the film, behind the scenes, and concept drawings. It's a great book for those who loved the film to have.

Leider gibt es viele Tippfehler und die Übersetzung gefällt mir gar nicht gut (vor allem der Satzbau ist mir oft aufgestoßen). Das ist sehr, sehr schade.
Laut Titel handelt es sich um das Making Of zum Film Phantastische Tierwesen Grindelwalds Verbrechen.
Der Fokus liegt dabei auf den Figuren. Mir gefallen die kurzen Abschnitte zu den einzelnen Charakteren. Darin enthalten sind Infos zu den Figuren, Hintergrundwissen und Anekdoten der Schauspieler. Nicht zu kurz und nicht zu lang. Finde ich sehr gelungen. Außerdem wird viel zu den Kulissen geschrieben.
Dieses Buch ist für Fans geeignet, die einen etwas tieferen Einblick bekommen möchten. Aber nicht zu tief.
Herausnehmbares Zusatzmaterial gibt es hier nicht.

I really adored this book. I am so thankful my sister bought this for me as a gift. I rated it a 4 star instead of a 5 because it did give some spoilers to the second movie. That's okay I still loved learning how all this "magic" was captured and brought to rhe big screen. It was a very interesting read.

This is the easiest five stars I've ever giving anything. This was so much fun and the pictures were stunning! I only wished they went into more spoilers because sometimes I was kind of confused which part of the movie they actually ment.
Second read: I love love love the pictures and illustrations! A truly unique chance to almost see inside the brains of the costume designer, set decorator, director etc. Amazing!
