The story continues… As Ceorfan queen, I, Kendra Macbard, want to make my people whole. There’s a contingent of gargoyles who live on the outside with no ties. They’re harsh strong nomads called the Hewn. I want to give them a home and return them to our people.
I need to protect the Ceorfan and humans alike, from our common enemy. A villain who wants to annihilate the human race and almost succeeded nearly two millennia ago. Now he’s back and more powerful than ever. His goal is to make room for his super race of magical beings and slaves. My challenge is that he’s hiding.
Then enters into our lives a tormented mage named Kick. I understand that he knows where to find the enemy and how to get us there. He’s the key. Befriending Kick is easy. The third and probably last book of the Ceorfan Gargoyles. Like the two books before it was fast paced, a wonderful story of paranormals of different types coming together and fighting evil, everyone in their own way.
Queen Kendra makes new friends and allies, strengthens her position against the evil mage Barat until it comes to the final battle and a sacrifice needs to be given....
I really enjoyed the trilogy, loved the characters with all their flaws and charms. A great fantasy, with a mild reverse harem theme.

Hewn by Miki Ward is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have loved reading and can not get enough of this author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about gargoyles, fantasy and paranormal romance.
