I'm not sure how this series continues to be so funny, but I'm also not questioning it.

Every new volume of this series is always ridiculous. The Princess always has some way to improve her sleep and this volume was no exception.


I read this right when I got it from the library and reread it for a review last night and I gotta say, it was still funny but Sylasis (not sure how to spell her name) is a little pushy. It was a bit annoying but I can get where she’s coming from.

I feel really bad for the cleric though. He’s my favorite character and he’s so underrated! I hope he gets more spotlight in the upcoming volumes.

Another super cute volume. I absolutely love Princess Syalis, she is amazing.
I loved all the demon's jealousy of Sunrise.
I am still wanting Syalis and Twilight to get together in the end.
I look forward to the next volume.

This series is still pretty good. I think it wouldn't be as good if I binge-read the entire thing, but as individual installments (with connections obviously) every few months, this works really well. Especially with the state of the world right now, this book was a nice pick-me-up, and I definitely enjoyed reading it. It was light, funny, and just what I needed. The art is always so pretty as well! Good volume. Definitely would recommend the series. 4 stars.

The pajama party preparations are hilarious. Syalis still does know how to have a slumber party. Her way is still good and I love that the teddy demon suit has made an appearance again. She really does have the run of the castle.

I just can't with all of these demons becoming absolute idiots to receive approval from the princess, like guys you have kidnapped her, and she is a hostage, you know this yet you let her get the better of you in everything. It is just too funny. No matter what they do and no matter how oblivious the princess is they still make fools of themselves. I can't wait for the next volume.

Reread:
-Christmas #3, that makes a little over two full years that the princess has been kidnaped and living at the demon castle
-Poor Twilight and Leonard, their pasts are truly coming back to haunt them today
-These girls have no idea how to run a sleepover and even if they did it would not work
-How are these all powerful demons so shy
-Now that is what I call a chocolate disaster
-It is definitly wierd that the princess hasn’t mentioned anyone from her past, she must have some kind of social acquaintance
-The fact that this is one of the only occasions that the demons eveh look ecil is a testament to just how good they actually are in their daily lives
-Its nice to see that the Princess genuinely thinks the demon king is good at his job

This volume might be one of my favourites cause it dives into some of the hilarious, and somewhat emotion, backstories of the characters.

Although there is little to no progression in this series, I am still loving the fluffy romance that this volume gives 😁🤣📖
