Kelex's His Stepson Wears Lace turned out to be an incredibly sweet story.
It broke my heart to see how horribly Jereme's mother emotionally abuses him. Watching him find love in a healthy and supportive relationship is so rewarding. Plus Anson deserves someone who is devoted to him and Jereme turns out to be a perfect fit.
Super hot, very romantic, and very low on the angst meter, I'm definitely looking forward to future episodes in this series!

well.. i kinda liked his stepson wears lace but didn't enjoy it that much. it was an okay read overall. what i clearly didn't enjoy here was all the mom/ex-wife drama. it felt dragged to me at least. i can't really say much because nothing that new happened. on the brigther side, the opening chapters were fun and hot though. like a gay porn movie, stepfather anson caught his stepson in his ex-wife's lingerie. he realized that damn he should've been boning his stepson instead.

This book started off really working for me but it lost steam about halfway through. It got too sweet and I wanted more of the tension it had in the beginning 😔 but overall it was still a very sweet story.

This is very nicely written, this was my first book by Kelex, and it won't be the last.
The story in itself is also very beautiful, much like Jereme is beautiful in lace. It is a dream to read about Anson supporting his stepson in being himself and being the first person in his life to accept him for who he is. 🤩🤩🤩

AHHHH This book! Look at all of these delicious tags - first time, kink, Daddy kink, manties and lace, age gap - everything about this story was a winner for me.
I beta read this for the author, so yeah, I might be a bit biased, but I absolutely loved Jereme and Anson. I loved how sweet Jereme was, how he just needed someone to love and who loved him back just as much. And then I loved Anson - how patient and loving he was towards Jereme, how he was such a supportive person for Jereme.
Kelex did a great job blending the crazy hotness and still have plenty of sweetness. I especially loved how supportive Anson was with Jereme's love of lace and feminine clothing, encouraging him to explore that side of himself, and totally on board.
Fans of daddy kink, crossdressing, and plenty of steam should definitely read this book.

So this was pretty awesome. This is about as perfect a Daddy book as I've read recently, or possibly ever. Daddy kink is so tricky to get JUST right...well for me anyway lol. I find much of the latest Daddy kink too porntastic, too saccharine, too superficial...Daddy/little books are super iffy for me and they can easily veer into the hive inducing. Break out the diapers and binkies and I'm pretty much looking for the next exit lol so it's rough....but when an author gets it just right...ahhhh, it's like that first sip of the first pumpkin lattte of the season. Joy and bliss.
What's funny about this rating is that anyone who reads my reviews knows I am not a fan of manties and I'm not really into cross dressing in books; they're never really my go-to reads. That title alone should have be a nooooo lol, but manties have become increasingly popular in Daddy books so I've gotten used to them and have come to appreciate them. Plus, every single time I've read a book where the men wear female clothing, the authors have really done the trope justice. It's always so much deeper than just throwing on an item of clothing. I've pretty much enjoyed the books once I've given them a chance. Throw in an author that you trust to bring their A game, and really, you can't go wrong.
But, back to THIS book. I pretty much loved everything about it...ok, so the absolute perfect Daddy book to me wouldn't have included the manties, but mannn it's done really well here. I loved that this book was the perfect balance between kink, erotica, and real life situations. This isn't a book that just descends into repetitive sex with the boy coyly speaking in this supposed-to-be-sexy baby voice, calling the Daddy 'Daddy' over and over and over for no damn reason. We know who he is, chile! I loved the development here, the real push to acceptance, the NEED the boy had for his Daddy, the DESIRE the Daddy had to protect, love and be there for his boy. Just perfect. We got a Daddy/boy relationship with all the sexiness of the kink and the heat of the passion, while still maintaining a real relationship and that pushed ALL my buttons. I loved that the first time they really get together Anson insists that Jereme doesn't wear the wig. That was important to me. I like books where even though the men (who identify as men) like to dress up, they make sure that their partners don't use that as an excuse to pretend that they're women. I LOVED that Anson went lingerie shopping with Jeremy to get him to accept that side of himself. I LOVED that while he pushed him to explore things, he kept checking in with him to make sure he was ok. I liked the gentler hand, not just Daddy knows best and you WILL do this, which has its place, but this worked really well too. It helped that they were both brand new at this. The stepdad theme is kinky and done well, and while Jereme's mother was horrible, I didn't feel like she was completely demonized to the point of implausibility. Towards the end, I skimmed a little but I would probably read it all on a re-read.
All in all, really enjoyed this one. It's definitely one I will read again. 4.5

This book was so easy to read and really well written I enjoyed it immensely.
Also to the story, it was so very romantic, steamy, fluffy and super hot. But it also had my heart aching for Jereme, the way he got abused and neglected by his mother jut because of his preferences was devastating to read but then to witness how he got all the love and support in the relationship with Anson was so rewarding!
I loved this so much, there were no questions asked at all Anson took Jereme how he was and worshiped him for it. They were the perfect match for each other and they really deserved it after everything they went through.
The only thing I have to criticize is that I found it a bit too short what made it feel a bit rushed at some places but besides this I have absolutely nothing „negative“ to say!

I feel as if the author wanted to add too much drama/angst, kink and fluff into a too short story. There wasn’t any natural flow to the plot, all the things happening were too convenient and dialogues way OTT.
The reason I gave a little more than one star (and I wanted to badly) because I like reading pseudo taboo, daddy-kink and a little cross dressing.

I really thought I had read this before, but nope, probably just a lot of books like it 😛.
This was sweet and sexy, very unrealistic and simply written but it absolutely did the job! I enjoyed a lot about this book, including the little bits of drama, the light hints of BDSM, Anson's possessiveness but most of all I loved the lace, corsets and stockings!!
This was sweet and sexy, very unrealistic and simply written but it absolutely did the job! I enjoyed a lot about this book, including the little bits of drama, the light hints of BDSM, Anson's possessiveness but most of all I loved the lace, corsets and stockings!!

Yeah, no.
This was boring, bland and not as sexy or hot as the blurb let me to believe. Didn’t even raise my blood pressure. In fact, 37% and so far only the first sex scene (not the blowjob) was actually shown. We’ve had a couple of “sex scenes” where its just cut-to-black. Great; on a book about kink we’ll have the kink just cut to black half the time. I left it at the spanking scene. So far it was cliche and boring.
I found the whole concept of the MC’s jumping to bed (and kink) unrealistic as hell. Anson was, after all, Jereme’s stepfather and even Anson admitted that he dint pay attention or even held a proper conversation with him until now (you know, after they jumped to be). So before thar first dubious consent blowjob scene? Anson didn’t even think sexually (or otherwise really) about Jereme so where the fuck did that sudden attraction came from? From a blowjob? Yeah, that’s not enough.
Side note: Jereme is an really ugly name ajdkdksj. And so is Anson.
And listen, I know Jereme’s mom was abusive and cruel but I am tired of women in male romance books being painted always as bitchy and crazy just so the MC’s have an excuse to bang.

Bland!
A potentially good story, but blandly executed.
This daddy/boy book is quite uninspired in fact.
Tons and tons of typos, inconsistencies, and incorrect grammar.
Most of the sex scenes, surprisingly, are fade to black.
Definitely not worth the price or the time. I literally forced myself to finish this because I had paid for it, but by the half-way mark, I found myself really not caring about the under-developed characters at all.
I felt the whole thing to be horribly forced with no chemistry between the MCs, and the cross-dressing/lacy undies aspect overkill.
Nothing sexy to be found here at all.
This was my first attempt at this author, and, whew! Definitely my last.
Two stars awarded for effort and a stunningly beautiful cover.

Discovered this book via a list on this site. It was an okay read. Have you ever watched a porn with a super thin premise that seemed to only be there to give some context to the banging that was about to occur? Well, that's what reading this book felt like to me. The premise was hot, but the story and the characters were not as developed as they needed to be for the story and the stakes to feel real. If you're in the mood for an m/m read that's taboo, hot, and more fully developed, I might recommend Nicky James' Sinfully Mine instead.

This was actually pretty sexy at times...and that's it. I liked the characters at first, and definitely empathized with Jereme's insecurities, but overall, the characterization fell flat. I just didn't find the pace at which the relationship developed to be believable. There wasn't enough love to balance all the sex. I could believe they'd fall in love over time, but not in one weekend. And don't even get me started on the mother/ex-wife. She was so over the top evil and selfish, that it felt like checking off a list of every villain trope imaginable. Overall, I was disappointed. I will say, however, that there was a pretty thorough exploration of the lingerie/lace kink, which is one I do like to read about at times.

This is a first read for this author with this book and won't be the last. Beautifully written. Getting caught with wearing lace the second time maybe a good thing but sends his fear rocketing. I hated his mother in this and doesn't deserve to have a son. Story of tough things for awhile, manipulation, age gap, homophobic abuse and hot hot lace with bdsm. This got the emotions going, good and bad for me. The ending a little dramatic and things worked out for a HEA finish.
Jereme was failing his classes due to internal struggles at Uni and considered going home to his Mom and Stepfather. His parents where having problems and heard it all from his mother.

Sexy hot
Jereme loves to wear lace but has hidden it, thanks to his hateful mother. You just feel for the way Jereme had to grow up with his soul crushed. I wanted hug and tell him that he's perfect just the way he is. I'm so happy he found true happiness with Anson. Anson is so sweet and supportive of Jerome. Loved to read how Jereme was able to bloom into the beautiful butterfly he was always meant to be.

I realized this didn't have a review, so I guess I should write something short. This is just okay! I mean, I loved the hurt/comfort and the characters within. Writing isn't bad, but it also isn't my favorite.
