Men of Crooked Bend #10

Simon's Surprise

Rate this book
Simon has been married three years and he loves his husband more than life. He’s patiently waited for a time when Sean was ready for a family, but if that never happened, he was okay, as long as he had Sean by his side.

Sean wanted to make Simon happy and he knew his husband wanted kids. He finally felt he was at a place that he could slow down enough to start the family he’d always dreamed of. But was Simon still on board?

Things don’t always go as planned and sometimes, life’s littlest miracles come in the form of a surprise. Read along as Simon and Sean open their hearts and lives to one tiny little bundle that quickly steals their hearts.

Simon’s Surprise is NOT a standalone. It is the tenth and final book in the Crooked Bend series that must be read after the previous books in the series. Each book in this series contains sexually explicit material between men in committed relationships and is intended for adults over 18.

Marvelous wrap up for our spectacular, loving family !
Yikes ! This has been an amazing series ! I began out of order with #3, and I have been delighted the whole way through these beautiful people’s tales. Here we see Simon and Sean struggle with surrogacy and heartbreak. Then a phone call changes everything. With a change of staff, the adoption agency is handled differently.
Heartwarming feelings, super sexy times, and more happy tears. Plus we get a peek at the two who started the whole magnificent family.
Enjoy !

This is book 10 of a series, while they all are about one family of brothers you can read most of them as stand-alones. I definitely recommend reading book 1 first before this. This was a great way to continue the story of Simon & Sean from Book 1. Well written story filled with plenty of emotion. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book for an honest opinion*

Fathers

Simon and Sean have been hoping to start a family of their own through a surrogate after being told by an adoption agency contact that they should look elsewhere, but after one heartache after another they're starting to feel it just isn't meant to be. Heartbreak and heartfelt, grab tissues for this one.

It's my first time reading this author work and it didn't disappoint me, I loved them all. The series was filled with hot sexy cowboys in their quest to find their perfect partners. It was also good to see the previous couples throughout the series as they grow with their families.
It was an easy 5 stars from me.

Amazing conclusion to the series!

I’m so sorry to see the end of this series. It’s one I discovered just after starting to read this genre and feels like a good friend. Although now I get to enjoy going back and re-reading it from start to finish all over again.
This book pulled feels out of me I generally act like I don’t have...tears were actually shed and smiles abounded at other moments.
Perfectly done, well written and the flow of ups and downs mirrors reality and really draws you in. Of course these are two of my fave guys from this series and they’re so steamy when the time comes...yes please (with piercings!).
Overall I really can’t say anything that can really express how much I love this book and series, except maybe READ IT! If you have read the series, start at the beginning. You won’t regret it either way.

I hate to see this series end, it is definitely one of my all-time favorites! If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with such a sweet story and the original couple that began it all. Love seeing how Simon and Sean are doing three years later and get a glimpse of the other couples as well. Simon and Sean have a bumpy journey to complete their family but what a sweet and beautiful completion it is. Thank you for the epilogue, I absolutely loved it! So we say goodbye to the Men of Crooked Bend but I know I will definitely be revisiting all the books over and over again. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Sweet Completion to a Beautiful Series

Okay let me start this by saying if you're one who has not followed the series, stop rewind go to Book 1 because this one is not a standalone. It follows a very long journey and it's important to understand that journey before reading this.

Simon and Sean's closure is absolutely beautiful and well written. The surprise of parenthood is enough to make anyone exhausted. This book takes you through the sudden journey with our beloved pair. I couldn't get enough. It was an amazing book.

What a wonderful conclusion to an amazing series! Simon and Sean getting their happy ending was so much fun to read! This story had so many emotions, sadness, heartbreak, and best of all happiness! It has been so much fun to follow this crazy family, and to see how the family keeps expanding. This book was so fun to glimpse the future, and see how much the family has been through!
Highly suggest you read this book or at least start this series! Such an amazing book with babies and cute family times!

Going back to where it all began for the last book in this amazing series....I loved this book so much!!!! I am sad this is the end but I am glad that it was brought back full circle. Simon and Sean are ready to expand their family and they finally get their wish and get their princess. It was so sweet to see them finally get what they have been wishing for after so many heartaches. They as a couple certainly came out on the other side stronger than ever. I loved this whole series and I would highly recommend to all. Well done!!!

The final book in the Crooked Bend series and its just perfect that it ends with the couple that started it. Simon and Sean are the couple that is happy together, but yet there is just something that they do want, a kid. This story is the one that shows the hardships that come of these two working to get the one things that they want. Things don't some easy for them in no way shape or form. Then one phone call has the power to change everything for them.
It was sad to see that this series has come to its end, but I loved every moment seeing these characters find their perfect HEA.

I've loved Sean and Simon since they started off the series in My Forever, My Always and I enjoyed seeing them on the periphery of the other books. I recommend reading the other books in series, or the first one at least, to get the most enjoyment. Sean and Simon were great characters and the completion of their journey to their happy ending was a great way to bookend the series, I loved every minute of it.

I am so happy but sad at the same time. The reason that this is the last of this series. I just absolutely love this whole series and all the characters! Taylor Rylan has created these characters and world that I just absolutely can't get enough of. I am so happy that we get more of Simon and Sean story. This also is just so perfect as an ending also we watch as they start a family and all the ups and downs that goes with it. Just a beautiful story to this amazing series!

Another great addition to the series. I was equally glad to have been reading it as I was sad to say goodbye to the whole series.
As with all the previous parts, it was a really good read, with awesome characters and all the feels one would expect :)

You will absolutely need tissues during this book. Simon and Sean are put through the ringer and you will feel as if you are on a roller coaster. There are just no words for how beautiful, emotional, and heart wrenching this book is. The one thing I truly have to say is you will love every moment of it.

The family grows

Loved it. I liked the Epilogue, it was the beginning of the story. It came at the right time.
I felt sorry for the multiple tries it took for Sean and Simon to have a baby, but I thought they would get the baby Simon ran into at the agency, glad I was right. The right time is always the best.

Beautiful and bittersweet!

Yes this was a beautiful read but it's bittersweet because you know it's the last one. Though I can't imagine not getting a little bit more of this family somewhere down the line. It's been a wonderful journey that I'm sure I'll read again.
