This is a really engaging, adorable, little book that is perfect for a younger grade level (I'm thinking like Pre-K/Kindergarten). There are very bright colors, fun rhyming words, and the mouth-flap reveal of the sound each animal makes is something kids will surely enjoy. I watched this as a read aloud on the Neill Library website--it was under a section on aquatic animals. This book would be really fun to supplement a lesson about the animals in and around the ocean. I don't really have anything negative to say about this book!

oversized lift the flap board book with large, vibrant illustrations. each spread has large text and polka dots on the left and an ocean animal on the right. "Do sharks stamp? Do sharks stomp? All I know is sharks go... (lift the mouth flap) chomp!" 4 page spread at the end that shows all of the animals and the sounds they make.

This is an oversized lift the flap board book with large, colorful illustrations that all rhyme. There's no real story line, but kids will enjoy lifting the flaps and making the animal noises. A decent story time addition.

This would be a great one for outdoor storytimes when we get to do in person because of the big, clear illustrations and the interactive nature.

This has been my son’s favorite book since the week he was born! The big flaps, bright colors, and fun sounds make it a hit. The other books in this set and equally fun as well!

The animal noises don't match the animals as well as the other two books. But the format is always fun for littles.

Do Cows Meow? is my favorite in this series.

Two pages are switched on our library copy, so the rhymes don't match.

This book is an engaging and hilarious read! The illustrations are bright and colorful and the text is rhythmic and I enjoy the alliteration throughout. This is a great interactive read and kids have fun saying what the animals are and what noises they think the animals make. Would highly recommend for storytime.
