I was glad to see that, in theory, I knew most of the things explained in this book. But I now have a clearer understanding of "knit the knits" and "purl the purls," so there were clear explanations that benefited my learning process with descriptions that I could read rather than watch youtube. The explanation of continental knitting was also clear and seemed accomplishable. Most of the projects were ones I felt I could make, so it was good to read through those as well for building my confidence to work on garments. The photographs sometime seemed to lack the complete steps for explanation. I guess they would need a youtube backup. Aw shucks.
A beautiful, inspirational book with clear photos and great sample projects. However, it's very difficult for me to visualize and then follow the instructions, knitting is not easy and in the end, I turned to YouTube 😐.
