When Holden sees the woman who cruelly rejected and mocked him after their high school graduation, he means to dismiss her from his mind. He's got many, many other more pressing things on his mind than giving Aspen the time of day. But when she needs his and the club's protection, perhaps Hunter just may give her a chance at redemption and at love.
I think this is my favorite of the Reckless MC series. Holden is such a substantive guy, such a complicated but lovable person, who's just trying to start over after having been deployed and seeing all the horrors that war brings. I admit I wasn't too fond of Aspen for much of this story, but she more than redeemed herself by the end, and she and Holden make a great couple. There's the usual excellent writing by KB, lots of action and suspense, and the Opey, Texas Chapter of Reckless MC just keeps getting better!

I was able to listen and read this wonderful book.
The narrator June Aaron was just perfect. I kept hearing the words "Black Velvet with that slow southern style". She did a great job with those accents.
We meet with Holden and Aspen and find out about them.
Aspen is from Holden's pass & she had just turned up at the sex club where Holden is working the bar,
with her waste of space boyfriend, Ken. As he openly cheats on her Aspen and Holden reconnect and hot and steamy sparks fly.
Aspen needs help and works on the ranch with Holden as he tries to keep her safe from the danger Ken has put her in. Holden believed Aspen did not care for him those many years ago, but find out he was wrong.
I just loved this book from the start.

Holden and Aspen
Holden runs the ranch he has done this for many years, he also is a veteran and a member of the MC. Aspen comes to Hardtail ranch for a job and a place to stay , she is actually hiding from her ex boyfriend! It's a great story about two people who discover themselves all over again, Holden and Aspen went to school together, he had a crush on her and turns out she had one on him too!! They have a lot of fights, and a very sexy steamy romance. Recommend with a 5 stars review

Holden thinks that Aspen is an entitled presumptuous person and that's being nice! Now she is seeking protection and it will come with a price. These two are like gasoline to a flame and combust on sight! This story is filled with nonstop action that will have you caught up in Holden's and Aspen's drama from the start to the end of this story!

This book was good. Good characters and plot along with some action and romance. This is not your typical MC book. This book is mainly a romance that deals with ranch life and a bikers club, but less on the MC.

ended to fast
Is it just me or did this book feel shorter, like it ended in a blink of an eye. It didn’t help that the one scene was happening will my window was making me blinds and door bang,
and i thought someone was breaking in here at midnight lol

I freaking loved Holden and Aspen's story so much. The beautiful, rich, stuck up girl from school who wouldn't give Holden the time of day back then now needs help. What's a guy to do? So good!

Another great addition
This was a terrific story full of mystery, suspense, humor, angst, and lots of love.

Locked in the past😢
Locked is book three in the Opey Chapter of the Reckless Bastards and is in my opinion the best of the series so far❣️It’s quick paced, has characters that have history which spans decades and is action packed😍
Holden came to Hardtail Ranch to recover in a small town from his past, where no one knows him but also to start over at a ranch where he can tend to the animals and have hard physical labour. He’s always been better with animals than people. One night Gunnar gets him to work at the Barn Door as a bartender and a blast from his past walks in. He never thought he’d ever see the woman who rejected him after they graduated high school, but here she is😢
Aspen goes to the Barn Door with her boyfriend Ken. When he goes to the mens room she grabs herself a drink, finding the bartender’s eyes familiar but she can’t place where from. When they return the next night, she finally realises it’s Holden, whom she had a massive crush on in high school but because of peer pressure, never took the chance to be with him....which she now regretted.
Fate puts Holden and Aspen in touch with each other once again, to right the wrongs of the past but to also possibly move forward together. But first they will need to protect her now that her life is in danger🥺 Wonderful story and I look forward to whoever’s story comes next💕

This is the book three of the Reckless MC (Opey, TX Chapter) and I believe it is my favourite out of all of them including the original Reckless Bastard series but do yourself a favour and read them, all You won't be disappointed this is one M
This is Hunter and Aspens story they grew up together and she humiliated him at their school graduation leading him to leave to join the military but now he has returned and is working security at the Barn Door the sex Club that the MC owns on their Texas property. Aspen is bought to the club by her boyfriend Ken to the club she isn't sure who Hunter is just that he looks familiar As she slowly realises who Hunter is and how badly Ken treats her she starts to question her decisions in life Will Hunter give her another chance after she hurt him before and what is Ken's link to the club and their past.

Sweet love story with a dash of suspense.
Holden is one sexy ex-military cowboy/biker, and Aspen is the rich girl who snubbed him in high school. Now, she's got a sniveling ex who's up to no good, and he's trying to help his MC keep the town of Opey safe while also running the ranch part of their headquarters. There's a bit of hate/love going on at first, and Aspen is clearly lacking direction in her life, but once she realizes the threat against her she's more than ready to face it head on.
While Holden and Aspen do get their HEA here, the suspense part of the story references situations and villains from earlier books in this series, and leaves the resolution of that on-going situation for a later book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Holden mainly ran the ranch but he was filling in at the bar cause they were short handed. Aspen was there with her so called boyfriend of over a year. She was growing tired of him and who know's what he was thinking. She had moved to Opey to be with him, but things just weren't what she wanted them to be.
While at The Barn Door Aspen went to the bar and saw Holden there. She couldn't believe it her high school crush in the flesh. Holden was crushing on Aspen back in high school too even asked her out but got rejected. What a blow to his ego and he wasn't about to forget it. This was another good one from KB. I really enjoyed reading it.

I love this series so much!! Aspen, little rich brat that thought she was better than most in high school. Holden had a crush on Aspen in high school and she treated him like gum stuck on the bottom of her shoe! She crushed him!
Fast forward and Holden is now former military and in the Reckless MC with other former military men. Aspen is now in trouble and looking to the MC club for help in protecting her. He'll help her alright, but he wants something in return!!
This author writes the most amazing stories! I am captivated by everyone I read! Thank goodness this one has a HEA and no cliffhanger!!

This amazing and intriguing addition to the Reckless MC OPEY Texas Chapter series is emotionally deep, well written, action-pack, full of drama, humour, suspense, and steam. The characters are likeable; their chemistry is intense and potent. There is an overlapping of characters from previous books which amps up the interest, intrigue, and excitement of the series arc. This book and series is definitely recommended.

This is book three of the Reckless MC (Opey, TX Chapter). This is Hunter and Aspens story. They have a past. They have secrets and heart aches. Do they have a better chance of happiness this time around? Will they survive their pasts? Is it just lust or more? This book had me from the start! I love the action, secrets, danger, chemistry and more. It is a must read! Fantastic characters and storyline. Check it out today! This MC is not much about the MC at all but it's a good book. Just when you think things are settling down more questions than answers are coming up.

Another fabulous read in this series. Holden, rejected by Aspen after graduation takes himself off to the army. With some raw battle scars, he joins the Reckless Bastards in Opey. By chance Aspen turns up in their sex bar with her waste of space boyfriend, Ken. As he openly cheats on her Aspen and Holden reconnect and hot and steamy sparks fly. This author was able to get my attention again. I step into this world again and get intimate with Holden and what happens to him. We are given Aspen whom tables have turned and she will have him turned inside out even though he will think different. Inter woven in this is suspense and drama having us catching our breath for a different reason. There will some action in here that at times you will be sweating. From start to finish you will eat this up.

Holden is holding onto those feelings as long as he can but when he gets a genuine apology, an explanation and sees how Aspens life is really a big sh@t show, he opens up. Add in danger, drama, a slimy ex, murder, mayhem, bikers, a sex club and a cute kid you get everything you need for a great read.

Really enjoyed reading about Holden and Aspen. This was a good story in this Mc Series. I love the Second chance these two both wanted. However, even if the club can help protect Aspen will they be able to protect themselves and the town? This story reveals more questions as the club tries to find and figure out who is targeting them. This is my honest review for a book I volunteerd to read

Finally Holden!
Locked was great. Reckless MC Open Chapter #3 snuck up on me. Stumbled upon it in a random Kindle search. Nice surprise. This Farnsworth mystery is interesting as help and I liked that Holden and Aspen where not wrapped up in the link of the Barn Door. Wonder who is next?

Fantastic Book!!
I just finished Locked, WOW, what a great book. This is my favorite of this series so far. I wanted Holden for myself what a totally perfect man. I can’t wait for the next book. So many questions, who is the next one about and I figure there had to be a biker for the doctor, Annabelle. Thanks to one of my very favorite authors.

I really liked this MC read, Aspen and Holden are great characters, high school sweethearts until she humiliated him and he leaves for the army. Aspen shows up at the MC’s sex club with her boyfriend Ken, who is a jerk. Will they find their way back to each other? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and steam. I was hooked from beginning to end on this action-packed read.

I think Holden & Aspen’s story is the best yet. These 2 are host as gasoline & flames. Back from his past, Aspen needs protection & Gunnar allows her to stay at the ranch. The 2 work side by side & they sexually combust. Hot sex scenes & the story digs a little deeper into the problems the club has. Another great addition to the series. Looking forward to the next book.

I love this book the storyline is great and well written this is a ranch where veterans can heal and it’s a MC Club that has a business a bar and a sex club Holden and Aspen know each other for years she comes to the ranch when she is treathen and Holden and Aspen fight but come together with each other and he protects her
