With Aries recruited, Lufas turns her attention to the other Twelve Heavenly Stars. That means visiting the tomb erected for Lufas two hundred years ago---and Libra, who is guarding it. And once that's out of the way, Lufas must confront yet another reminder of the past.
The second volume starts strong and doesn't really let up. I liked Lufas's cynical commentary about how her grave is now a tourist attraction, and of course the comedy of errors that is her party trying not to show off TOO much as they bulldoze their way to the top.
Once Libra is safely back under Lufas's command, the story shifts gears to focus on Lufas's past, her former hometown, and the Hero King who fell after he defeated Lufas. Although "Lufas" is currently the gamer who got stuck in her body, she's also a person with her own history---and I love that by the end of the book he admits he has no idea how much her thoughts and memories have changed him. He can only tell that he HAS changed.
But to balance out the weighty revelations, the humor stays on point. With Libra's literal-mindedness and lack of morals always there to coax one more person into a nervous breakdown, combined with a fair dose of madcap action, things never have time to sink too deeply into gloom.
The story can still over-explain some things, but overall this is a solid followup to the first volume. I rate this story Recommended.
Ahh!
Lufus continues her quest to reunite with the 12 Heavenly Stars and finding other players like her. The maid-gollem Libra being the next. While on her quest the reader quickly realize more is going on then Lufus thinks as if somebody is influencing her memory and perspective of the world.
The story continues with the over-the-top fights between a clearly OP MC and friends and the rest of the world, while showing that more is going on then a straightforward hero vs. demon lord kind of situation. While entertaining, some of the suspicious events taking place are rather obvious to the reader, but are missed by the MC. The (likely) reason for this is clear for the reader, but I am not an overly big fan of the trope. The MC and her friends are also not exactly heroes, which leads to the occasional morally questionable decision not to the point that it bothers me beyond the occasional eye roll.
Still, the story appears to be working towards some kind of overall resolution and is different enough to keep me intrigued. Not the best, but an enjoyable read.
The main character finds out that he/she is not alone in the world but only has 1 other who is like him/her in it. He/she also seems to have been merging with who he was pulled into the body have more so this time. They got to the heaven-winged races city and it is the place of most of the book. It is a nice book. The golem girl is pretty much the emotionless character that only follows orders. He/she also got another one of her 12 tamed monster friends too. So 2 more in this volume now she has 3 of them with her.
