I really enjoyed how Sasaki’s friend: Hirano, and Hirano’s roommate: Kagiura, will now have their own manga series since I was/am very curious about them. I think it’s adorable how in love Kagiura is with Hirano, and how sure of his feelings that he is, even if he comes off at playful at some points.

This is so wholesome! I'm totally in love! I like that Kagi is so open to his friend about being in love with his senpai, Hirano. Although, his friend Niibashi, may have been misunderstanding him at first, thinking it was only admiration. But I think Niibashi gets it when Kagi announced that he wished to marry Hirano. And for what reason? SO THAT NO ONE CAN HAVE HIM! Oh, my poor heart can't take it. I want to scream!!!
And don't even talk to me about Kagi and Hirano's pure relationship. It's beyond friendship, but you can't say romantic tho. It's refreshing. Ah, I like it! And the art is swoon-worthy too. I'm tired of saying 100% but, I felt the need to say it when I genuinely believe that the art is really good. Ah, thanks Syou. I enjoyed it! Gosh, this is why I love shounen-ai. It's freaking wholesome and just right in all angles. I'm looking forward to Kagi's proper confession in the next volume tho! Nosebleeds.

This is a spin off series to Sasaki to Miyano following Miyano's senpai/Sasaki's friend, Hirano, and his roomate, Kagiura who's in love with him.
It's absolutely adorable and I suspect it'll be an even slower burn than Sasaki to Miyano is. Even though Kaguira is already fully aware of his feelings and there's no doubt in them, Hirano's a bit more clueless despite Miyano's pushiness lol. I'm expecting a lot of back and forth and a lot of Hirano misunderstanding Kagi's confessions. This also gives a different perspective on the other boys in the series. Hanzawa's pretty present since he's the dorm head and we get to see a little of Sasaki and Miyano from Hirano's perspective, which is great. Plus Juuya! Kagi's friend is so cute. I love him already.
Side note: I love it so much that Hirano calls him Kagi-kun. PRECIOUS.

I say I don't like cutesy stories but then I'm absolutely in love with this fluff!
This is a spin off to Sasaki and Miyano (the anime is airing and its hella cute) so hear a lot about Hirano' roommate in the anime and was curious about their relationship and this volume did not disappoint. It's just cuteness overload. I'm soo rooting for Hirano and Kagiura ❤

I'm so excited to finally start this series! ✎ᝰ. I'm such a huge Sasaki and Miyano fan so of course I wanted to read Hirano and Kagiura. But just as Sasamiya I knew it was also going to be a slow burn, so I kinda wanted to wait for them to at least know of their feelings before starting lmao. I'm not even sure if they already went there in the future volumes, but enough is enough - I'M STARTING IT. I cannot have more FOMO please, I needed to know what was going on with these two!!
The first vol is a nice introduction, more of Kagi than Hirano, but also for their dynamic and living arrangements. We kinda see them in some bonus specials in Sasamiya - but I did really like knowing more about them. They're roommates, living in the student dorms, and they have this cute sempai/kouhai relationship. 𑣲 Kagi is harboring a massive crush for Hirano and literally wants to marry him while Hirano is unbeknown of this fact or any romantic notion towards Kagiura. But he does have a certain protective vibe towards him so I know that when he realizes his feelings, oh it's going to HIT GOOD.

Cute! I agree with the sentiment that these two make for stronger main characters than Sasaki and Miyano. I feel like they have a real relationship to build off of, which is more natural than "we're both boys who like each other and reading stories about boys who like each other." They were also frustrating to watch realize/sort through their feelings for each other, but Hirano and Kagiura seem more promising.
Now that I think about it though, them getting together could totally be drawn out. This one volume was okay as setup, but there needs to be a non-miscommunicated confession in the next volume or else I'm going to be upset. Chemistry means nothing to me if I don't get to see an actual relationship!

I thought I had an idea of how the timeline worked with Sasaki and Miyano but actually reading it at the end of this volume just confused me (ーー;) Anyways I too would love mornings if it was Hirano waking me up everyday, Kagi is a lucky boy. I hope eventually we'll see Miyano and Kagi meeting officially—even though Hirano is firmly against it.

Madre mía la conexión que hay entre Hirano y Kagiura… Voy a ser sincera, tenia tantas ganas de leerme la historia de estos dos personajes que traté de ir más rápido con el manga de Sasaki y Miyano en consecuencia. Pero LO HA MERECIDO TOTALMENTE.
Los amo muchísimo help. Hirano me hace muchísima gracia cuando se enfada, pero con Kagiura es tan 😭😭🥹🥹. Y por otro lado, Kagiura es una monada, se nota que aprecia un montón a Hirano y ay😭 me pone blandita.
Siento que si no me hubiese leído el manga de Sasaki y Miyano probablemente no habría conectado tanto con esta historia (o más que conectar, que hubiese tenido tantas ganas de comenzarla y leerla, de hecho hasta he empezado el volumen 2 sin enterarme jajaja). Pero realmente me alegro de haber leído la otra antes porque Dios mío las ganas que tengo de que la historia se desenvuelva… UF.
Por otro lado, y esto ya lo dije en cada review de Sasaki y Miyano, me encanta Hanzawa!! QUIERO SABER MÁS SOBRE ÉL 😭 Y ME HACE MUCHA ILUSIÓN QUE EN ESTE MANGA SALGA TANTO SU PERSONAJE. Ojalá él sea protagonista en su propia historia 😔😔😔😔

SO ADORABLE!! ever since the anime i wanted to know more about hirano and kagiura. their story is lovely and i love how they care about each other. volume 2 needs to release earlier, i need to read more😩 also, i loved seeing more of hanzawa (one of my underrated favourites) and sasaki. lastly i just want to add that shou harusono’s artstyle is so pretty, i love it!!

i so love this. such a cute senpai x kouhai story. hirano is such a caring senior to kagiura and kagiura is so loveable you would see he was raised and loved right by his parents through the values he learned and exhibited (and this is just the first vol!).

Screaming into the abyss because I think I might like this more than the original story. Also, call me crazy but Kagi reminds me of Yamaguci from Haikyu!! Kagi is so in love with Hirano and I really hope he’ll be able to confess soon… Good luck Kagi!

Ngl I started this because I didn’t understand the timeline between Sasaki and Miyano and Hirano and Kagiura, but now I’m obsessed with both. I’m probably going to put this on hold until I finish Sasaki and Miyano tho. Very wholesome and I loved the sports aspect!
