Well, I have to say that I was disappointed. Almost all the reviews on the book set's page are 5 stars and everyone seems to love them. I just found them to be "OK" and not really scary as much as just plain gory. The disclaimer was there saying you would need a strong stomach and I would agree. Anyway, I know I have a number of other books in my Kindle library by this author and I will probably try a full length novel to see how that goes. The titles included in this box set are ROCK-A-BYE BABY; EENIE, MEENIE; NIBBLE, NIBBLE, CRUNCH; and HUMPTY, DUMPTY. Humpty, Dumpty was probably the most disturbing and Nibble, Nibble, Crunch (although still gory) was my favorite. I would only recommend these to a hard core horror fan who needs some quick reads (a horror fix).

Once Again

It doesn't seem to matter whether it's one of her full page novels or short stories, she catches my attention from the very first sentence and keeps it until the very end.

Great!

This was a great collection of short stories! A little bit different than her other books but really a good collection.

4 novellas of varying success. I preferred the first story because it left the reader wondering what was real and what wasn't. Trigger warning for cannibalism and baby death. The last story was very graphic and the true horror wasn't in the murder and gore, but the father character. Trigger warnings for rape, murder, child molestation, gore. The other two stories were fine. Nothing really stood out for me. Trigger warning for prison scenes and body mutilation.

Good stories. Just enough disturbing to make you cringe without wanting to throw the book.

Don't-you-dare-turn-off-the-light scary! Things that seem like a bad joke- like a killer snowman, for one- are made genuinely creepy. Prepare yourself for lots (and lots) of gore.

Wish they didn't end

Brilliant short stories hope you write more of these. These could easily be made into longer stories as the endings are so open!!
