This framework was interesting and I think those who, like so many of us, are supervisors in higher education without formal supervision training. I enjoyed the perspective and research, as well as the examples by the authors. I found some of the explanations to be more rudimentary than what I typically would enjoy for a professional development read, though that is just a matter of personal preference and not a fault in the text.

I also was lucky enough to attend a supervision session by the authors Robert Brown and Shruti Desai, who graciously facilitated at my place of work. If you have the opportunity to bring them to speak, a highly recommend that you do - they really enhanced the experience of reading this.
