One Serial Killer. Two FBI Agents. One wants to bring the killer to justice, the other wants revenge. But can they get to the killer first to make sure an earth-shattering secret is kept hidden?
Hate. Contempt. The only emotions Murphy O'Neill is capable of. Hate for Elijah, the Werewolf who brutally and savagely killed his mate. Contempt for the Alliance, who allowed the murderer to escape. A string of gruesome slayings in Boston points to Elijah's return, and Murphy is determined to track him down and make him pay for destroying his life. The one thing stopping him? A mouthy, opinionated FBI agent who just can't be told to mind her own business.
Twenty years ago, the Boston Wolf Killer suddenly disappeared without a trace. The killings stopped and the city began to breathe again. Kaitlyn Quinn's father, a detective with the Boston PD, was the last victim before the police and FBI lost all trace. Special Agent Quinn has been assigned to the FBI's task force to track this killer down. For Kaitlyn, it's personal. She intends to bring her father's killer to justice no matter the cost. Even if it means teaming up with an ice cold, emotionless agent from the FBI’s elite Critical Incident Response Group. Everything is not as it seems, and Kaitlyn is thrust into a world she didn't know existed.
To catch the psychotic killer, Kaitlyn and Murphy must put aside their animosity and navigate the thin line the separates their two worlds.
* 5 stars * After reading Masked I could not not read this book. M Greenhill does it again, she perfectly blends in a sociopath, the Mob, 2 F.B.I agents and werewolfs ( I don't know if I should shelf it as paranormal, romance or crime). Even though it is a strange combination, M Greenhill sure as hell knows how to rock it. I don't want to give details as I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but you should prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions. Other thing that I love about Buried is that we are not strike with the cheesy kind of romance as in Twilight, but the romance aspect -even though it is present- is more of a sub-story which makes the book much more interesting. This is a book I highly recommend to pretty much everyone. Can't wait to get my hands on Evolution (Masked #3).
You can’t go wrong with a wolf shifter FBI agent and a kick butt FBI agent heroine chasing after wolf shifter serial killer. The story was good, a few grammatical errors through out but nothing horrendous. I enjoyed the first book and I enjoyed this book and I’m sure I’ll be reading and enjoying any following books.

Kaitlyn takes care of her mom and a secret is revealed. Life gets back to normal only with a now broken heart, which turns into joy when Murphy comes back. Feelings are revealed and reciprocated. M Greenhill writes a suspenseful, funny, tension filled story of revenge, danger, and secrets. Her characters are well written and have you believing werewolves are real. I laughed and wondered what was coming next. Looking forward to the next book in the Masked series.
As FBI-CIRG’s most successful investigator of the most notorious criminals, wolf Murphy O’Neill wraps a big case, he’s notified Elijah, his mate’s murderer is in Boston. Agent Kaitlyn Quinn’s reels hearing the news the serial killer than took her father when she was a child has returned and she’s denied participation in the case. FBI powers that be decide Murphy and Kaitlyn be paired with a couple of locals on the case. No one’s happy about it.
Before long the many things Kaitlyn doesn’t know irritate her and she demands Murphy share… he does but it’s definitely not what or how she expects. Though Murphy’s chased Elijah before as they dig into the situation, he realizes Elijah’s end game isn’t what he thought and someone on their team isn’t a team player. Not a big fan, to my taste, Kaitlyn annoyed and the read was unnecessarily long. Rating:3.5stars
I read the first yesterday this one today! I couldn’t put it down! The storyline is riveting, the characters are unique, and love wins! A new “fav” author for me!
As good as the first. Can’t wait for the next book
I really like this author, whom I came across by chance. Paranormal romance and thriller combined with a detailed story that keeps you determined to finish the book. Roll on Book 3.
I found this book and the one prior to be quite good at getting and keeping my attention from start to finish. The characters were compelling and real. Waiting for the next book!
