Daniel James is Adamantine.

Daniel quickened a year ago, became a super, and built a suit of armor to get out there, to be a hero. It’s what he feels he has to do, his calling in life.

Problem is, the government is cracking down on supers, and with the official formation of the MTF (Metahuman Task Force) under the umbrella of homeland security, most superheroes are forced into retirement. The only exception is one team in each city, and his only chance to keep his dream is to apply and get one of the positions. His choice is to bend under the yolk of the government, or to give up his ambitions.

His destiny is in Silver City, if they hire him, and if he can survive the competition…

Author’s Warning and Note: This is a Superhero Harem adventure, with mature themes, and is not suitable in any way, shape, or form, for children. This first book is more one on one, the harem and polyamory aspects of the story will start in book two. This trilogy can stand on its own, but it’s in the same universe as Oracle’s Maidens, one year later in a different city. As such, there will be a few spoilers for the first series.

I was born and raised on Long Island and always had two hobbies...

I loved computers, and I read books voraciously.

I've been working in the computer industry for twenty years, and have continued to read a large number of books. On a whim, I started writing erotic short stories online, and to my surprise they were always highly rated, and more than that, I found I loved to write. Since then I have worked at improving my writing, and started publishing on Amazon.

I had to pass

Odd writing style. It almost seems like the author is scared of his MC and should write in another genre. He spends an obscene amount of time repeating over and over that he isn’t a pig or pervert or shallow. Then ogles a woman because she’s beautiful, then says that’s ok because he is a man and she is really pretty. Then rinse and repeat ad nauseum. This MC is what you would call a beta, and not fun to follow along with, and not relatable, at least for me. Also, this author seems to have a thing for weak males, surrounded be women that are better than him at everything, yet for some reason the women want him. After they hate him, of course. Just an odd way of going about it and not for me.

This is a similar book to this authors other series Oracle's Maidens. It is in the same universe and happens about a year later. This is a stand alone series though and you don't need to read the other series to know what is going on (though it will give you some background). This author follows a certain pattern in his book seems to follow the same pattern as the Oracle's Maidens series. The story involves going on patrols, fighting supers, and dealing with the government. That is all something of the side story, but this is really a love story.

A good start to a superhero trilogy.

The author did a good job of establishinh the setting and characters before moving on to big plot points. It was well paced and self contained despite being relatively short. I'm looking forward to the next two books on the trilogy.

MC is a tool

Not impressed to be honest. Just neck beard wish fulfillment... I think you would have to pretty sheltered to not be put off by the cringe.

Good story

This is a story that seems to have a lot of potential to be a great story. Going to find out as I read book two.
