Kindan no Koi de Ikou was recommended to me by my Haitian friend back when a was a freshman. (I'm a senior now! Yai!) She was also the one that recommended me Midnight Secretary, which is one of my favorite mangas, same as Kidan no Koi de Ikou. I remember that before reading this manga I wasn't so into the whole werewolf theme, but afterwards, i got obsessed with that sexy werewolf and most of the werewolf characters (ovio if the book/manga is good), because its not worth obsessing over something if the book is not enough. But this manga was totally worth it and I just love the way the are together, how they natuarlly click. Its awsome! :P
So much love for this series. Yato is the definition of "manga/book boyfriend" (in my opinion) just so much emotional gush when it comes to this amazing series.
Come on Viz Media you translated and published some of Tomu Ohmi's other works so do this one too please.
The drawings are not bad. The plot is repetitive. Each chapter presents the same ending (happy ending) and that's what shojou and josei genre mostly offer. What I like about this manga will be the feelings of the main characters where they are deeply connected with each other even after one of them go to other world (spoiler a little).
I don't know why some people think of it as a drama because for me it is a humorous romance. The little bit of drama is nothing that makes my heart race or tears spill. It is a bit tacky and when I started reading I would have never thought that I actually like the series a lot. Enough to rate it 4,5 stars. It is a very pleasant and humorous manga, much better than I expected. However, don't expect too much of the plot line, the story is about their everyday life and nothing fancy.
The male protagonist is not a werewolf, he is a full-blood wolf who can transform into a human through the power of the moon and moves in with the female after saving her from a drunk. You can imagine that it's not easy when your lover is a wolf - and you are a special young woman. The only annoying thing is the female protagonist, who is not able to communicate her feelings and can't take care of herself most of the time. Nonetheless, she is likeable and gets more so as the story continues, but sometimes I'd like to smack her head against a wall, you know?!
Overall I like the style of the manga, but I do not like how the male protagonist is drawn in human form. However, his wolf form makes up for it because it is beautifully drawn and has really funny facial expressions!
I can really recommend this if you want a quick (the story is episodic) and simple read that is funny and likeable. Oh, and basically everything the two protagonists do ends with them having sex, so there is a lot of sexy time and boobs for you to see. You should read the two short prequels before reading the series.
This manga contains 9 Volumes and around 41 Chapters. The story is about the love between a human and a Werewolf.
Well, I can't tell you how much I love this manga!!! I love everything about this! The story is great, the art is super nice as well! I don't know how many times this manga made me laugh and cry at the same time. That's what being in love will do to you. There is no dull moments in the story. Though, the sex scenes may seem to much sometimes, but I still love it. Lol. The author made Hisako looks so fit to her character and Yato as well! Very good looking. I cried at the end of the manga but I'm happy to know that Yato is still there and will always be there for Hisako. Uhg. I now want to have the same love. Complicated and will bring genuine happiness. Recommended for all Romance manga fans!!!
It seems that I've been into smut recently... I have to say that it lacked story at the beginning, but as the series progessed more story developed. It felt like it was just about a horny dog. Anyway- It develops into a sweet story about a couple struggling to stay together despite social pressures to separate.
Reading this is a bit strange. It has more smut than its prequels which are more of a josei. Readers meet the archenemy (in my opinion) of the couple, and we get a tiny slip of information about the shop owner. Nothing brilliant so far ): EDIT: I got confused. Chapters are hilarious every now and then, loving it. Ah, the ideal breasts hahahah.
Beautiful series, much like Ohmi Tomu's other works...nothing tops Midnight Secretary for me but this one comes very, very close. And is it just me or does everyone else feel hot looking at Yato? Boy, I know he's just a drawing but he is S-M-O-K-I-N-G. *fans herself*
