SleepWakers #2

Sam Lights the Dark

Rate this book
Everything seems to be perfectly peaceful now that Madalynn Sucret, the evil genius leader of the MeanDreams tribe, is dead. And yet, Sam can't shake her sneaking suspicion that something still isn't right. Then one night, as Sam drifts into that time and place in between wakefulness and sleep, Madalynn materializes. She reaches out to Sam with a whispered plea: "Help me."

What's more, Sam is certain the mysterious and dangerous Dr. X is reattaching SleepWaker's souls to their bodies-a process that can never be reversed. Without hope for detachment, Dr. X's victims can no longer SleepWake; they're forced to return to their perilous sleepwalking ways. With Madalynn's life on the line and the future of the SleepWakers at stake, it's up to Sam and her Council of tribe leaders to protect them all.

In this thrilling and pacey sequel to Sam Saves the Night, Shari Simpson crafts an adventure with hilarious hijinks, aspirational friendships, and satisfying twists and turns.

This book was incredible.

I have never actually known anyone whom experienced sleep walking, so this book was an interest to me. The book is very fast paced and a great read for anyone who is interested in the fantasy dream land kinda read. My only critique is that the book can be slightly confusing in some places and the language in the book may be foreign to some young readers.

I really want to read this book, but when I look into it it seems that there's only one copy in a completely different state. I'd really like to know where I can check it out. It's weird because it's published under Disney's literature company.
