Story
A good story of 6 chapters: engaging, interesting & building to a conclusion. Then the story is concluded with an invitation to read the next one. Is this a series story? Will the next edition finish the story?

LA meets Colorado
Piper wrote a screen play and boss has given it ago for her to make and direct it but wants it shooting at a ranch in Colorado not in the jungle at first piper isn’t pleased about it being changed but agrees to it making plans to go there she meets up with some friends and they make lists of their ideal man Pipers is someone who would help her be a better person, someone who cherish and protect her, someone who would be her very best friend, someone who would never abandon her and someone who she will grow old with. The Wyatt ranch has been in the family for generations though it fell in hard times but Blake took over running it and idea how to continue keeping the ranch but also changing for the times he builds a luxury spa retreat on the ranch. Through his younger brother the ranch is chosen for the location of a film and Blake is overseeing it. He is a gentleman and when Piper is hurt he supports her and helps as much as he can his feelings for Piper become more real especially when the film is getting wrapped up. He asks Piper if she would show him around LA when he’s there in a couple of weeks then kisses her. On the film bus on the way out of the ranch the note with her list of an ideal man falls out and realises who meets that list but how can it work. The book leaves you on a bit of a cliffhanger but reading into it all worked out. Can’t wait for the next book maybe get a glimpse of these 2 in the next book

I didn’t like Piper Stephens at first with her demands and her attitude about what she and her crew needed during filming at Blake’s family ranch and luxury hotel. Blake Wyatt was a good guy, who was trying to do right and save his family ranch after serving in the military. He showed what a gentleman and all around good guy he is with his continued support of Piper especially after her injury. His youngest brother Michael was immature and I hope he grows up some in future books in the series. The middle brother Henry was mentioned in the first chapter as a reason for choosing Riverside Ranch, but he didn’t appear very often. I like the list Piper came up with for ideal man. It showed she was focused on important things and wasn’t shallow. The epilogue was really the last chapter of the book as it didn’t wrap everything up.

Piper has always wanted to produce her own screen play. Her boss approves it and sends her to Riverside Ranch to scope it out to see if it will be suitable for the film to be produced there. Blake is one of the owners of the ranch, he is a return veteran who has come home to save his families ranch from bankruptcy. Piper and Blake hit it off and it isn't till the end of the book that they finally admit to their attraction and want to do something about it. But it is only after Piper leaves the ranch that they arrange for Blake to catch up with Piper again in Hollywood.
The book kind of leaves you hanging, but you get it that they will meet up and possibly see how the relationship goes. It wasn't a bad book, there was a lot in there to keep your interest in the story.

There is a cliffhanger gang.
This short and not complete story was not a bad read. It does have a cliffhanger so will have to read the next book to know what is going on between Piper and Blake perhaps a happy ending then perhaps not. The characters were well written and the book is based on faith but not soapy. The author has written some challenges into this part of the book not sure if they will come back or not in the next book. I enjoyed the piece and looking forward to the next book. A romance comedy that is quite entertaining, with a diligent, but shy hero, an interfering crew of co-workers and an overbearing boss.

This delightful and charming contemporary romance kept me entertained and engaged from beginning to end with captivating characters and a lovely story introducing Riverside Ranch Resort. It becomes Western vs West Coast at Riverside Ranch when Hollywood pays a visit to the ranch. A fun and enjoyable story line that's entertaining as well. Strong well developed characters with great chemistry that you will fall in love with. The story line will captivate you from the beginning, draw you in and hold you there until the end. It's always nice to read a clean, wholesome romance.

I've read a lot of books written by Sophie Mays; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

Piper is promoted to assistant director in a movie based on a screenplay she wrote. Its set on a ranch/spa in Colorado, and she goes ahead of the rest of the crew and cast to scout out the scenery. Blake is part-owner of the ranch with his family. They find themselves thinking about each other, but how can it work? He's Colorado, she's LA. He kissed her when the movie crew leaves, then the book ends. Have to wait for the next installment.

This is such a Sweet story!
The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.
The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

This is a well written short story with strong likable characters and a clean romance. The author does a great job painting her scenes and developing both the characters and story line. She brings an entertaining story and moves it quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

An entertaining sweet romance. You are swept up in the story of the ranch, the horses, the surrounding areas. You are taken on a ride and you don't want to get off. The story is well written, the characters are enjoyable and the chemistry is great. You will read this in one sitting. An enjoyable read.

Welcome to Riverside Ranch is a very interesting look at what happens to live on a ranch when Hollywood comes to film! Blake and Piper have an immediate chemistry, but each knows their romance would be impossible. Piper is dedicated to her job and Blake is dedicated to the ranch. I was captivated in chapter one and did not put the book down until the end!

This novella was part of the Anytime Escapes collection that was published in June of this year. This is a sweet and clean romance that is set at a Resort ranch in Colorado. Blake and Piper are willing to do anything and everything to each make their dream come true. She wants to make a movie but all of the sudden her movie location has to be changed. This was a wonderful story but it looks like a cliffhanger.
