This is a good collection of verse from Kumar Vishwas. A very popular Hindi poet, this book contains a variety of themes ranging from love, longing, heartbreak, patriotism, politics etc. One good thing is that the writer never gets too serious or preachy but is aware of the ephemeral nature of things.
Divided into 5 sections गीत, कविता, मुक्तक, कता, आजाद अशआर this is a collection of some pure writing. Some works like एक मैं हूँ यहाँ एक तू है, होठों पर गंगा हो, हाथों में तिरंगा हो, बच्चों के क्या नाम रखे हैं, विदा लाडो etc. are too good. Beautiful compilation from a popular Hindi revivalist poet.

It was a good change for me from reading mainly novels... Reading Poetry was different...

Have always been a fan of listening poetries but have not read any till date (not counting those in syllabus), so reading this was an experiment which did work Pleasantly...

"Ham hai deshi.." and "Hothon pe Ganga ho..." Were two of my favourite "Geet" in this..

A really great book for all those who want to read poetries and who already read poetries..

P.S. The Book is in Hindi and contains Urdu words too.. so you must be familiar to these before starting this...

Unlike the old set of poems this book contains more sad poems. Hence it took me longer to finish.

I hope he writes more about love rather then how people are..

Poems are not bad... But most do bring you down if you are an emotional creature.
