It was only supposed to be one night. Independence
Capri is a businesswoman first, but her father's daughter second. Her co-workers see her as just the boss's daughter, so she works extra hard scouting locations and figuring out new ways to market Outdoor Bound, her father's real baby. It's one of these excursions that is leading her back to Hunter, the gorgeous, brooding shifter who hates her, almost as much as she wants him.
Hunter has always been sure of who he is, and his place in this world, but since his brothers have all settled down with their mates and have started families, he's feeling out of sorts. Not that he wants what they have, in fact, that's the problem. As much as he loves his nieces and nephews, Hunter isn't ready to have kids, so, when Capri comes back to town, stirring up feelings he isn't ready to face, he does what he can to keep things casual between them.
At the first touch, they know what they have is special, and although they both agreed to a one time, no-strings fling, they will soon realize, that one time will never be enough.
The last in the best-selling series from Paranormal Romance Author DJ Bryce, the Grizzly Brothers will leave you breathless and dying for more! They all end in an HEA with NO CLIFFHANGER!
Author DJ Bryce loves her men tall, dark, and Alpha. She can often be found relaxing with a cup of coffee, a handful of RedVines, and a good book, with her two dogs snoozing happily at her feet. Winter's story was a great ending to this trilogy. Capri and him were perfect for each other. The only problem was getting Hunter to stop fighting it and give in. He broke Capri's heart so many times I nearly cried on some parts. Look forward to reading more from this author.
"Another one bites the dust," but definitely not without a fight! Hunter is just not ready for marriage and kids, but fighting fate is tough! Love the quick read series!
I've liked this series, but I think Hunter's story was my least favorite. Not that he and Capri weren't a good match or lacking in steam. But seriously, Hunter! You know the woman is your mate, but you're going to be an outright jerk to her instead of actually *gasp* TALKING to her about what she sees in her future and how you might fit together. Not every woman wants marriage and triplets immediately after meeting their guy! You could have saved both you and Capri a whole lotta heart ache if you'd actually talked to her. One of those TSTL, drama that didn't need to have even happened, sorts of things.
Also, like Blaze's story, there were some minor editing things that were distracting (use of "I" in a 3rd person story, for example - a personal pet peeve).
Still, HEA for all. No cheating, no cliffhanger. All is good. And it was a free find on Kindle!
I started reading this series for a quick, easy distraction. While I enjoyed the first two stories , I was rather disappointed by this one. Mainly I just didn't like Hunter. He was just not very nice to Capri and I really couldn't figure out why. I didn't really feel a connection to either character. And I didn't feel as though the story ended with a real resolution.
No one likes a doormat. She is a doormat without much pride. Forgave him in a heartbeat.
I don’t approve.
And Hunter... what sort of man needs to be convinced in order to claim their mate? Blah blah blah he doesn’t want this and that, blah blah blah but a conversation is changing everything.
I would refuse him or make him work for it. Doormats aren’t interesting, they’re annoying...
Hunter and Capri’s story was my favorite of this series. She is his mate, but Hunter isn’t ready to settle down like his brothers did. Can he manage a no strings affair, and keep her from falling for him? Who is he kidding, can he stop himself? This book was a bit “darker” than the first two. A bit of dominance never hurt anyone “wink”! Enjoy this series for what it is, a fun set of quick reads, guaranteed to make your panties melt!
This book was good but I felt as if the main female lead lacked self-esteem. And yet at the same time want to break from family business and venture out on her own. Male lead is stubborn and yet all indicators prior was he was wishing for the same thing his brothers now had. The story was entertaining.
Another incredible book in an incredible series. I love this trilogy and Hunter is my favorite. I love how he fights everything in him for everything he really wants. Each book in this trilogy is so different and so great. Just a fantastic read all around. Quick, fun, sexy books. I highly recommend.
Another fun, sexy and romantic story. Hunter the last of the triplet Grizzly brothers to find his mate. Unfortunately Hunter is not ready to settle down, so he fights his bear. Good story, with a happy ending. Needs some editing but it doesn't detract from good shifter drama
A good shifter story. This one is family drama, love and just pain cute all in one story. It's a nice break from the MC/Mafia etc stories. These books make me smile! (Love shifter/paranormal books.)
I was shocked with this story line, usually every shifter is happy to mate. Of course it worked out in the end, but glad there was a bit of a twist to this one. I enjoyed the characters, thanks Terra I really enjoyed this series.
Fun short stories, each less than 90 pages. It was a great introduction to the style of the writer, which I found I rather enjoyed. Would have loved for them to be fleshed out a bit more, but for novellas they are really well done and self contained.
I love Terra Wolf's stories. They are hot, sexy, stories of finding your true mate. The way the characters interact with family, friends & other people who come into lives is important to the plot & stories. This story has everything a reader wants a love story & a happy ending for all involved.
gratuitious spanking with no warning. Tie to bed with no warning. Too bad this ends the plotline I had high hopes that it was in line with the other two.
This book was amazing just like the first two in the series. Although, they can be read as a standalone, I enjoyed reading all three in order. Great heart shifter books!
This is the third standalone book in the Grizzly Brothers series, and my favorite. It's snarky vs sweet but strong, and oh, so likable. Hunter has been attracted to Capri since the moment they met. But he is a confirmed bachelor, loves the lifestyle, and can't consider giving it up. He just isn't ready yet. Capri throws his bear into mate mode, but Hunter won't relent, agreeing only to twenty four hours. There are so many ways this story could have gone. I loved it.
A well written story. I can't say I liked Hunter but he did come to his senses finally. I don't do spoilers but I will say this isn't a story where the two people meet fall in love and live HEA. They have to deal with problems , but they work through them. This story isn't for everyone but it is a good book. This is the first Terra Wolf book I have read but I know it won't be the last one.
I have to say my least favourite of these 3 books due to Hunters bad behaviour. Hunter is the last brother to find his mate and even though he met her months previously he panics as he feels his fate closing in around him and acts terribly. Hunters attitude irked me and even though Capri agreed to no strings sex, she wanted more, so that made her deceitful with Hunter. Once all the usual hurt feelings and false bravado was done with these two finally talked about what they each wanted. Surprise, Capri didn’t want to be tied down either. The overall have sex with as many as you want theme with books 2 & 3 is not my cup of tea. I much preferred Diesel and his not being bothered with women until he met his mate. Unlike Blaze and Hunter who more than made up for Diesel in the man whore department. That aside the actual stories have been fun short reads and I read them all for free.
