Rate this book
In a completely new type of mission in the explosive Joe Hawke series, the ECHO team must go into the dark heart of the Amazon jungle to track down an American government official possessing critical information relating to the location of their kidnapped friends.

Framed for terrorist outrages they haven’t committed, and still on the Most Wanted List, Joe Hawke and the rest of the team must race against time before Jackson Moran, the official who is their only chance of locating the mysterious black site, Tartarus, vanishes into thin air, but deep in the Amazon basin they find horrors like they have never witnessed before.

What is the reclusive Russian tech-guru Nikita Zamkov doing in his secret rainforest compound? Why is Moran meeting with him? When the team discover the hideous truth behind the Russian’s amazing technological progress, they know they have a new enemy who must be defeated at all costs. In this supercharged adventure, Joe Hawke and his team fight like never before to hunt down Moran, free their friends, clear their names and put President Brooke back in the White House.

Too much of the same

I enjoyed these stories but it has become same old, same old. Goodies find clues, fight baddies, go on to fight again. Won't be finishing these books as the plot is just the same as book follows book. Rob can write a good story but this series should have finished several books back. Looking for something new.

Joe and the team have to call on two other groups to help. They have 24 hours to save the world. The Day of the Dead is the selected time an egomaniac has decided to set off a virus that will kill all humans on earth. He then will create a world of AI.

Marvelous tales

The Joe Hawke series is like one great big continuous story. Full of exciting adventures, fun characters, dasterly villains and non stop action.

Makes you want the next book to come out faster!

This book is great! It has a nice tempo and you will really root for team Echo. I'm ready to see Echo get some retribution! Cougar season should be getting close!
