Fun read

I always enjoy having mythology entwined in stories and this was well done. Keeping writing time appropriate is fairly difficult, but more so with time travel. It also would be hard to keep the flow of the story going if everything we're familiar with had to be explained, but there were a few inconsistencies. There were a few edits missed as well, but over all it was well done. I really enjoyed it.

Book 1 of the Gods series and I could not put it down! The idea of time traveling in this book is great. The experiences of the main character in another time is funny and relatable and makes you fall in love with her. After finishing this book, I immediately downloaded Book 2 of the series! Another great book written by RaShelle Workman! I highly recommend any of her books for a great read!

I admit to being a little confused because this books starts out as a regency book so the cover made no sense to me but then I remembered it was a time travel book. Accepting that helped get me on board with this book. It was light hearted and fun. True to RoShelle style it ends in a cliffhanger so uou want to reach for the next book.

It was a good book.

It was a good book, but I am frustrated that it didn't even cover her entire first time in the future. It was just getting interesting and things just started happening, and now I have to get the second book if I want to know what happens. Not a fan of that.

Lucy is from 1815 in London. After her 18th birthday party, her grandmother passes away and leaves her a set of journals and a locket said to send you to your true love. Lucy doesn't count on it sending her 200 years into the future though!
