The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read:
In this absorbing, clever and funny book, renowned psychotherapist Philippa Perry tells us what really matters and what behaviour it is important to avoid - the vital dos and don'ts of parenting.Instead of mapping out the 'perfect' plan, Perry offers a big-picture look at the elements that lead to good parent-child relationships.

The Whole-Brain Child:
In this pioneering, practical book for parents, neuroscientist Daniel J. Siegel and parenting expert Tina Payne Bryson explain the new science of how a child's brain is wired and how it matures. Different parts of a child's brain develop at different speeds and understanding these differences can help you turn any outburst, argument, or fear into a chance to integrate your child's brain and raise calmer, happier children.

No-Drama Discipline:
No-Drama Discipline provides an effective, compassionate road map for dealing with such tantrums, tensions, and tears - without causing a scene. Based on recent discoveries about the brain that give us deep insights into the children we care for, what they need, and how to discipline them in ways that foster optimal development, this book offers a 'relational' approach that builds on children's innate desire to please their parents and get along well with others.

Mindsight:
Daniel Siegel coined the term 'mindsight' to describe the innovative integration of brain science with the practice of psychotherapy. Using interactive examples and case histories from his clinical practice.

Learned so much reading this book. Whilst reading the flaws in my own upbringing was highlighted. Good tips on communicating with small humans. You don’t need to be a parent to read this book. Applying tips used in this book would help humanity as whole. Glad this book was recommended to me; Twas a good & insightful read.
