I found this book at a thrift store and thought it could provide me with some insight in how to make side money. In 2022 I plan to open other income streams as I'm in a low-paying nonprofit job right now.
It's filled with useful tips and ideas about how to generate other streams of income. A good primer and motivational tool for people wanting to get started with a side hustle.
That being said, I would caution readers to take what is helpful from this book and leave what isn't. For example, there's a chapter on opening a pawn shop for extra income. My conviction is that pawn shops are not ethical, so I skipped this chapter. If I remember correctly, there might also be something about buying rental properties for side income... don't even get me started on the unethical practice of landlording.
I found helpful tips for starting a small business which I operate in my free time that I plan to launch this month. I don't know if this book could be considered a "Bible", but a helpful little guide nonetheless.
Arguably James Altucher‘s best book! The book gives several ideas on how to start a second or third source of income. Although, you may not be too happy with the fact that they are not listed in numerical order.
Instead, the book goes into various chapters that explain many processes on various different types of business models. Some ideas are deliberately hidden within the chapters themselves. Others will jump out at you immediately as soon as you read the chapter title. And still others, are deliberately listed within the chapters.
All in all, it is a great book that is sure to give you many ideas on how to start a second or third source of income. All that is left for you to do is to take action!
Not sure if it contains 177 different ways to make money but it definitely does contain a lot! This is definitely one book you’ll want to read slowly.
