She wants a man who’s got her six…
He needs a mate with enough moxie to leave Earth…

Software developer Moxie Maguire has a BIG dream—save enough money to start her own video game company. That’s why she logs fourteen hours days working for an obnoxious boss. But when life seems to be passing her by, she sets another goal—meet Mr. Right, a man who can support her dream. She joins the Intergalactic Dating Agency and is matched with a hot and horned alien named…Sixx. Sexy as heck, a good listener, family-oriented—he’s the perfect man to share a life with.
If only that life was on Earth.

Sixx has a dream, too. Find a mate, settle down, and raise kits. With females in short supply on his planet, this single dad heads for Earth to get a female and get back to Dakon and his young son. The instant he meets Moxie, he recognizes she’s his Fated Mate. They’re meant to be together.

But he won’t abandon his child. And, unfortunately, his planet has even fewer computers than females. One for the entire planet, to be exact.

Will two Fated Mates have to part? Or can they find a way to work it out?

this is the fourth book in this series. Well written and fun to read! This one is about Moxie an Earth woman that designs video games and works for her ex in his company she decides to sign up for the Intergalactic dating to find a match and gets sent on a date with Sixx who is a Dakonian. Unfortunately he has a child that is still on his home planet and doesn't want to live on earth and she doesn't want to go to his home planet as it is too primative and she would have to give up everything that makes her her. Reading how the two of them try to work around their lives is fun but sad at the same time Can they come to a meeting of both worlds and keep each other or will they give up and loose the chance of true love. Plenty of romance, action and strife to keep you reading from start to finish.

Moxie Maguire is in a holding pattern. Working for an ex, saving up to start her own company. She's hoping to be a successful video game creator in her own right. Although she's lonely and decides to give the Intergalactic dating agency a try, since she's obvious had no luck with the men on Earth.
Sixx hopes to find his mate and return to Dakon where his son is being raised by his ex. He's found his fated mate, but it seems fate is playing games with him as she is not ready to leave Earth. They obvious have no future together, but he can't just stand and watch from the sidelines when she's mugged and hurt!
Another story for the mail order brides, successfully mated with their Alien Mates. I received an ARC for my honest opinion.

Dakonians on Earth. *thumbs up* I liked them back on their planet and I like them taking a risk and heading to Earth to find their special someone. In Sixx's case, while he's there hoping to meet his mate, he also has responsibilities back on Dakon he refuses to walk away from. Namely, his son.

As for Moxie, she has some compelling reasons to stay on Earth. Things like, you know, her passion for game designing and there being only one computer back on Dakon. Which makes things seem pretty darn bleak for our couple.

But...BUT...sometimes it takes something catastrophic to make people take a long look at the things they think they can't live without and reassess. In Moxie's case, it's a run in with a mugger, a break in at where she works, and some pointed accusations that drive home just how unhappy she is with her current situation.

I do enjoy these Dakonians and their search for their one and only.

When I want a little spicy fun, light and easy in my alien romance, I know that I need look no further than this light sci-fi series from Cara Bristol. Her Dakonians are stand-up, loyal, sweet, strong and oh so devoted to their special fated females and its always a blast seeing them working to win said female to their side.

Sixx is the fourth of the Dakonian Alien Mail Order Bride standalone series within the larger Intergallactic Dating Agency series.

Sixx has come to earth to find a mate he can take home to be with him and his son to build a family. He thinks he has found that with Moxie on their first date until he learns that she has no intentions of leaving earth. Ever. She has her own dreams and no matter how much chemistry they share or that he knows they are fated mates, she isn't coming back with him. But, he has a month before he must leave so he has by no means given up persuading her to change her mind.

Moxie is a workaholic both for her bosses gaming company and her own side work to develop her own game. She has shunted aside her romantic mom, her friends, and her dating life for her work and dream of publishing her own game and having her own software company. But, a gal needs a life so she decides to try the Intergalactic Dating Agency that gave her friends the alien men of their dreams. Sixx is all she could ever want if only he would stay on earth so she could have her dream and love without having to give something up.

It was with anticipation of an easy, light read that would leave a smile on my face that I picked this one up and settled in to enjoy. I liked both Sixx and Moxie and thought the author developed a solid romantic conflict that through a complication into an otherwise easy fated mates scenario. Moxie was the focus as she had all the friends, family, and work connections there on earth so I was glad to get a bit of Sixx's home situation at one point.

And, the added suspense facet of Moxie's attack and the further incidents was a bonus.

I can't wait for Moxie's colorful country gal friend, Barb, to get her story next.

All in all, its a fast read, but not under-developed for sci-fi romance readers on the go that I can definitely recommend.

My thanks to the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Moxie is the ultimate gamer girl. She is striving towards her dream of owning her own game company. Pity she has to finance it by working for her ex, who has become a bit of a douchecanoe if I'm honest!

But to appease her perma-romantic mother, she joins up with the IDA. When she meets Sixx, after an initial hiccup with an interlope, she sees what she could be missing. But can this alien, single father really be enough to change her dream for? Sixx instantly knew Moxie was his mate, now he just has to convince her! He needs a mate but he won't leave his son behind.

Loved fiding out who was behind all the attacks on Moxie - totally called it! Joha is a total sweetheart and I loved the way that Sixx and Fala, with her new mate, just get on with being great parents with no animosity. Great wee read!

Moxxie is a game designer and since she spends most of her time at work and doesn't spend a lot of time going out, she decides to sign up at the Intergalactic Dating Agency.

Sixx had been in a relationship on his planet that produced a child but his ex left him for someone else and since Dakonians usually mate for life, there was no chance that another female would consider him now. So he decides to come to Earth and be matched with a female that will come back to Dakon with him.

They seem to hit it off right from the start which is good but things get awkward when she finds out he wants her to come back to his planet. Their dates kept getting interrupted by her boss constantly calling her. When weird things start happening at work and she keeps finding herself in danger, it's Sixx that comes to her rescue. But even though she and Sixx hit it off really well when they meet and get to know one another, Sixx can't stay on Earth because he has a son back on Dakon. With only one computer on Dakon, Moxie can't see herself living there when she wants to be a game designer.

I really liked Sixx, he's such a great guy so I was sad when it looked like things weren't going to work out for them. But thankfully they do come to a compromise and they find a way to make things work. I can't imagine going to another planet to live but Earth women keep jumping at the chance to go there even though it's really cold. The guys are hot and nice so they do have great reasons to take the chance.

This was a fun story with a bit of a mystery as to what was going on at her work that put her in danger.

Another great Alien romance from Cara Bristol! This one features Sixx and Moxie Maguire! Sixx comes to Earth to get a mate and meets Moxie, who is sooooo not keen on leavung Earth but likes Sixx. She is attacked and he comes to her rescue after their first date and what follows is the stuff of nightmares and dreams!
All in all a good read with some humour and good characters to boot!

I received an ARC copy of this and am leaving this review freely and with absolutely no reservations!

A sweet and emotional read

I loved the chemistry between Moxie and Sixx.. I loved the storyline that didn't look like it would end happily but worked itself out. I really thought her boss was the slimy bug behind all the drama, like he seriously was evil, he was out to hurt Movie but she didn't see it I read this straight through, but it's a Car a Bristol book, so that was expected, lol. I recommend this series to my reader friends, and I definitely recommend this one too!

THE FATES HAD MATCHED US, LAUGHED, AND THROWN ROADBLOCKS IN OUR WAY

Once again, Ms. Cara Bristol has spun an amazing sci-fi romance with humor, with a touch of mystery and suspense. The new series is a spin-off from her Alien Mate series where human women were sent to Dakon to be paired up with Dakonian men. In this new series, the Intergalactic Dating Agency has involved, allowing alien men and human women to use a computer match-making program to help match them up and the aliens will come to Earth. While this is part of a series, each book will read well as a stand-alone.

The fourth story will bring Dakonian, Sixx to earth to find his mate and be matched to Moxie. While he plans to return to Dakon, she had hoped he would remain here—now they are at an impasse.

“Will two Fated mates have to part? Or can they find a way to work it out?” “So where do we go from here? He’s GU—galactically undesirable. He intends to go back to his planet. What’s more important—love or a computer game?”

Moxie Maguire’s life has revolved around coding and creating video games. While she is working for a company, one that she has shared her baby, Zephyr, she plans to eventually leave and start up her own gaming company and even has another game in the works. Work keeps her so busy she doesn’t have time to date and instead joins IDA, Intergalactic Dating Agency and has learned she has been matched. Meeting Sixx only adds more dilemma to her because she feels attracted to him.

The story has some mystery, suspense, danger, and decisions. What a shock when Moxie is attacked by a mugger and injured but so is Sixx when he comes to her rescue. He will retrieve her purse, which also has her phone and the game she has been working on for her future. There a strong chemistry between Moxie and Sixx, but there is also the issue of if they decide to become mates, which planet will they call home.

“Don’t let fear make your decisions. Passion and hope, an irresistible combination, glinted in his eyes. He was bold but not brash. He liked me. And I liked him. My pulse raced, and my stomach fluttered.”

“The Fates had played a practical joke. I couldn’t leave. Sixx couldn’t stay. It seems to me you’re letting a sure thing go for a chance at a maybe.”

Strange things happen with work, plus the attack on Moxie is followed by a second attack leaving more questions than answers. Both Sixx and Moxie are miserable without each other and decisions need to be made for their future.

“Contemplating Sixx leaving caused my chest to tighten and my heart to ache. Game or no game, the brightness of my future dimmed if he wasn’t in it.”

Sixx can’t stay on Earth, and he can’t fantom leaving Moxie behind. What will it take for him to help her see that moving to Dakon doesn’t mean the end of her dreams? Does their future on Dakon offer the chance at having the best of both worlds?

“Mates, husband and wife, partners.”

Review originally posted at BooksOfMyHeart.net.

I’ve really enjoyed the stories of the Dakoians, but I have found I like the stories on Dakon a bit better than the ones set on Earth. I found it a bit doubly so with this story, and I think it was because of Sixx. He comes to Earth to find a mate with every intention of taking her back to Dakon, which makes sense, as he has a young child with a different female on Dakon.

I’m not 100% sure if I should be more upset with Sixx for not making that clear to the agency or if the agency didn’t take that into account when matching him up. Moxie is a game programmer and she wants to start her own game development business, so leaving Earth for a planet who doesn’t have much technology doesn’t make sense. However, she finds that she really likes Sixx.

While, I wasn’t a fan of the conflict used in this story, I did find I enjoyed watching them come together and resolve their issues in the end. I also enjoyed the mystery of someone stalking Moxie and figuring out who that was and what they were after.

This wasn’t my favorite story in the Dakonian Alien Mail Order Brides series, it was still entertaining. As with the other books in this series, I really enjoyed the characters and like seeing them come together. I have the next book in the series and will be reading it very soon (if I haven’t, as I’m writing a while before it will actually post).

This series, while I consider science fiction romance because of the aliens and remote planets, has very much of a paranormal romance feel. Just swap out the vampire/shifter for an alien, so if the science fiction is what is keeping you from trying this series, I wish it wouldn’t. I don’t want to make it sound like every other PNR story out there, because it isn’t, but just fits well within that genre as much as it does sci-fi.

Hope and romance, with a side of humor!
Sixx is such a delightful male! I love his desire to protect his mate, his struggle to understand the complexities of human behavior AND the language. These misunderstandings make for frequent laughter. Moxie is a hard-working woman. She has her eyes set on her goals, and misses the most significant points, to my thinking. Some incidents, and an afternoon of quiet thought show her the way to go.
Do read, you won’t want to miss a minute of this gem!

For a sci fi romance, this book was dull.
A male being from another planet applied at an intergalactic dating agency. A woman from earth died the same. They’re matched. He comes to Earth. They like each other but neither will relocate. Eventually she decides she can go to his planet after all. Cue music, fade to black.

I need chemistry. I need humor. I need some kind of connection. This book didn’t have it. Flat characters. Boring story. Just not for me.

I have trouble believing the heroine will be happy giving up the conveniences of life on Earth to go live on a planet experiencing an ice age where every day is a struggle to survive. Pleasantly surprised to see that she doesn't have to give up her career for *true love*, but she does have to give up everything else.

Sweet and charming

Another winner 🏆🏆🏆 🏆

I love these Mail Order Bride books !!
In this book , Moxie is a game programmer , who is over worked , and under sexed !! She puts in for her very own male in the Intergalactic Dating Agency. What she doesn't understand is Dakonian males work....
She doesn't understand that the males KNOW almost immediately , that they are mates or not.

Sixx wants and needs a Mate. He doesn't want to be alone anymore . Also , back home in Dakon, the girl he thought he loved, chose another. He also has his young son to think about, so he must be getting back.
After these two get together there is nothing but practically non stop action !! I
But will they be able to see eye to eye , or will Moxie's career that she had worked so hard on be her only focus ???
I enjoyed this book so much , that I am off to reading the next !!!

I read this book as part of Dakonian Alien Mail Order Brides Boxed Set Vol. 2 and the review below has been repeated as part of the review for the set.

Sixx is a Dakonian who has joined the Intergalactic Dating Agency in order to find a human bride. He meets Moxie and there is an attraction between them. However, Sixx has a son back on Dakon who he can't just leave there. Moxie has a dream of setting up her own business producing video games and can't see herself giving up her dream in order to leave Earth and live on Dakon. These seem to be insurmountable obstacles and, despite Sixx's and Moxie's deep and growing attraction, it looks as though heartbreak is on the horizon.

This is a very good read and the intimate scenes in the book are realistic. I look forward to reading more in the series.

Nice.

Moxie is a computer games developer. She works from 5am to 7pm plus and has no social life. She therefore has no time to get out and meet anybody so she joined the IDA, the Intergalactic Dating Agency.
Sixx is Daconian. His planet got smashed back into a primitive time by a massive meteor strike. Since then they have had fewer women being born than men. Sixx thought that he had a mate in Falla and they had a child together but she decided that they weren’t right and found another Daconian. Sixx wants a mate for him and his son more than anything so he signs up with the IDA.
When Moxie and Sixx meet he knows immediately that she is his true mate.
But true love never did run smooth and Moxie and Sixx have a few obstacles to overcome before their HEA.

Sixx and Moxie

Moxie is a game programmer and has plan of starting her own business and Sixx has come from Dakon to find his true mate and return to Dakon. She is mugged twice, her job is taking up 14-16 hours a day but she falls in love and decided she will go to Damon. Sixx feels bad she has to give up her dream so he speaks to Jessie at IDA and she arranged with user of the one computer on the planet for access to the internet. She is thrilled and they head for Damon where she gets to meet his son Joho and the computer guru and she got pregnant on the trip which took 3 months.

Fated to be the perfect match, but will their dreams for the future drive them apart? Moxie wants to own her own video game company. Sixx wants to raise a family. She wants to live on Earth. He wants to raise kitts on Dakon. But surely some compromise can be reached! From the first meeting at the Stellar Dust Bin where a tentacled alien tried to steal her away until the very last longing look, Moxie and Sixx's story will have you laughing, frowning, and flat out enjoying the ride. Book 4 in this series, but can be read by itself

Moxie is a workaholic with a goal of starting her own gaming company but she also wants a man who will love her. She joins the IDA and meets this hot Dakonian who is a single father so his plans are to find his mate and take her back to Dakon. Sixx immediately knows Moxie is his fated mate. Moxie has strong feelings for Sixx but she never planned to leave earth. Fate had other plans for the two of them. Another great book in the series with a happily ever after.

Fun Readng

I loved this story about Moxie and Sixx. The Dakonian males are hilarious when they meet their mates and even with the cultural differences make for an entertaining read. Both Sixx and Moxie had plans for their future but how do an alien and a human meld them together and find happiness? You will have to read aNd find out....but you won’t regret it.

Great series

The plot lines and conflicts may not be all that great, but I do love the characters in this series and the series before it. The Dakonians are just so wonderful. This is a fun, easy read. If you don’t go into it expecting a deep, meaningful plot, then you’ll really enjoy yourself.

A Fun read . I love Mail-order Bride stories. This was really good one. Especially Alien ones. Six came to Earth looking to a mate and ones his gated mate, Moxie. Their romance is very complex and challenging.
