Alyssa is a journalist and she has a gut feeling that billionaire Lucas is hiding a secret. She infiltrates his party and snoops around until she figures him out. She does, and Lucas tells her everything she wants to know before they get attacked by the enemy.

I'm not a big fan of this story because everything that happens from the characters to the story is unbelievable. Alyssa decides to spy on Lucas just because she felt like it, without any reasons. That is something that journalist don't do, not only for ethical reasons but also for legal. Moreover, they declare they are each other and Alyssa is willing to fight with him, after knowing him only for few hours. She also accepts everything that Lucas tell her as the truth without questioning anything, not something that a good journalist would do.

Interesting type of vampire and the Vympyria a new type of vampire eating demon. The intro was a bit too short for my liking... I'd liked to have had more background on this new demon but it's a quick short read that sets you up for the next book. It's fast paced an hot on the hook up between the two fated mates, but it does keep your attention! Lucas and Alyssa are a great duo, fighting together and her optimism will get them through this! Am going to guess the next book is about one of the other 4 brothers. I do look forward to reading the next story and I do like Amber's writing style but I think I prefer the Ember Abyss series. Enjoy this quick read!

This is a vampire story that has a twist to the story where a race, called Vympyrias, has gone after the Vampire race to eliminate them. There are very few Vampires left so the few that are left are wealthy and have merged in with the humans. This is a love story between Balthezar, a Vampire, and Eve, a human nurse. While Balthezar falls off a building and lands at Eve's feet, basically, then she takes him home to help him heal, so their romance begins. Of course, the Vympyrias get involved, especially one named Lilith who tries to prevent Balthazar from falling in love with Eve. Does Lilith succeed? Or, does true love succeed?

This book was awesome! Alyssa is a reporter, and goes to a charity fundraiser to do a expose on Lucas Lovegrove, the billionaire philanthropist. Upon meeting at the event Alyssa and Lucas have an instant attraction to each other. Alyssa does some snooping and Lucas catches her, and she finds out what he truly is and she is his bloodmate. They complete their bonding ritual and afterwards they are interrupted by the Vympryia, who are after Lucas, and they fight side by side. This was an incredible story and one you need to read for yourself, I highly recommend it.

Love it!
“Hunted” is an exciting paranormal romance. Lucas, one of the last vampires and his fated mate, a human journalist become entangled in the vampire/vampyria war. This tale has action, suspense, and drama that flow across the pages of this tale from the first word to the last with steamy chemistry thrown in the mix. Hunted ends in a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.

I felt like I needed more. I am only assuming we will see more of Alyssa and Lucas in future books since their story is just beginning, in a way. But I would have loved to have an epilogue or some sort of peek into their future. The story itself is pretty much insta-love with them recognizing their mates from first sight. They don’t waste any time in consummating their attraction and we even get a little action scene. I’m intrigued now as to what’s to come within the vampire world.

But what could go wrong when Lucas has finally found his bloodmate in Alyssa? The Vympyria has found Lucas, as he has been in hiding since he was young, and would like to finish him off. This is a short and fast read by one of my top go to authors who I enjoy reading every one of her books!

This is book 1 in the series. It starts off as Lucas being a child running and hiding from the Vympyria. His father had hid his brothers and his parents where taking him to a safe house. Then we get introduced to Alyssa she is a reporter for The Sunrise Gazette and is wanting to do a story on Lucas. Lucas just happens to be having a charity gala at his place. The author has given us characters we can care about. Lucas, vampire, meets Alyssa, reporter, at a charity gala and they each have an immediate attraction to the other. After they have the bonding ritual, the gala is interrupted by the Vympryia that have been searching for centuries for Lucas.

A good paranormal romance and quick read!

This ebook of vampire paranormal romance was quite compelling. The two main characters Lucas and Alyssa were very believable. I feel like there could have been more of sexy scenes but I'm starting the second book and I'm hoping their romance will be spicier in this book. Overall I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to book two and three!

This was a short story but it was pretty good. The actors were kind of slow but I am sure this author will get a lot better with time so I am recommending this book to other readers.

I liked that is a fast paced read and keeps the energy up throughout which makes for a good reading experience. I enjoyed the premise and that it features a different kind of vampire.

They make a great couple and I am looking forward to reading more about them. I would like to know more about the other characters that were introduced too.

Was a good story a little confusing at first but once u understand him and his back story it is a really good read
