I've put off for a long time reading about Bryan and Nelly because I just didn't think my heart could take it. But having said that I'm so glad I took the plunge.
From the first pages in the first book i fell for Bryan Kincaid and Nelly. You see them as H.S. students Nelly 17 and Brian 19. You hear Bryans voice, his thoughts and reasoning. His persistence in going after the girl.
You also hear Nelly's voice, her hesitance because the repercussions would be to great even though her heart and soul knew where and with who she belonged, her mind wouldn't let her be and with good reason. Until she took a chance that led her to her all time greatest love. And isn't that what we all want??? That all encompassing great love that reminds us we are alive?? The one where you can look back and say "yeah, at times it's been hard, but with you by my side it was easy." That taking a chance is worth it?
All books give a glimpse into their lives at different POV's The first as teens, the 2nd as newlyweds and a young family and last book as a growing family with a little breathing room. You see the Rolling Crew as kids and you get insights from a different perspective, you see how their upbringing shaped them into the men they became.
Absolutely loved how each book was told from Nelly's perspevtive to her grand daughters even when it doesn't seem so at first.
Before diving in to these short reads, please read the Rolling Series first. You'll be glad you did.

ALL THE FEELS!!!!
This book has left me so raw!!! How can such a short novella, hit me in the feels so hard. It’s possible when it’s written by someone as amazing as Emilia Finn.
It was the ending we knew was coming, but the journey of getting there was nothing short of amazing. Bryan & Nelly’s love is an epic love. One that is hard to find & one that consumes your soul for an eternity. I cried so much in this book, ugly crying. But this crying was almost therapeutic. I feel like I needed these tears to help me mourn the amazing man & the epic love.
Emilia, thank you so much for giving us Bryan’s story. I’m so glad he was so adamant about talking to you. We wouldn’t know the utter greatness that is the Kincaid boys without the love of Bryan.

A truly beautiful well planned heartfelt ending
I know I know it’s not really the end! There is still so much love and fights to read but it’s the end of the early years! Bry was always suppose to be written and shared with all of us! Thank you Emilia, even if I kind of hate you right now for making me cry for not only Bry but Nelly and Jon. The Kincaid’s know when know especially when it comes to their bonus kids. I cried for Bobby, Aiden and Jimmy but my heart was torn in half and smashed like a cheap can on the side of the highway for Jon and Izzy because they finally had a real Daddy. A beautiful peace of art!

Mind blown!
This might be the one I need the tissues for the most! Nellys story absolutely gutted me! The loyalty and the pain mixed with the love and balance of parenting five little kids and all the sacrifices is rolled into a fabulous little story! I think Nelly might be my new favorite roller! 💜🥊🥋

My heart
I can't imagine my life without the Kincaid clan or anyone else Emilia Finn brought to life. But these short stories hit different. I don't know if it's because I know how it all ends or because the rest of it was born from these two people but these tear my heart out in the best way.

god damn it
😭 sobbing just sobbing my heart is broken.. I feel Nelly’s pain like it’s my own.. I have never been so invested in anything like this and I am just broken.. Bryan was a saint.. he was a saviour and the best damn man in history.. he may be fictional but in my heart he’s real..

I love this Novella series and it’s great to be able to go back and see how it all began with Nelly and Bryan! If you read all of Emilia’s other series, I would definitely recommend these next!

OMG!!! This book brings out so many emotions. You will need your tissues to get through this one.
Bryan is truly a stand up man and you will in love with him even more (well as much as you can with a fictional character)
You get to see the impact of Jon and Iz in Bry and Nelly’s life and the abuse that they copped. It was always niggling for me that these kids went through this and they thought they were pulling a swift one on the parents. Little did they know...
It is truly the best way to wrap up this series. You see the love Nelly and Bry have all the way to the end. And the impact on Jon and Iz.

I didn’t think I could love Bry any more than I already did. I was wrong. I’ve said all along I wish he was still with us, but I know now why he wouldn’t leave you alone and wanted you to finish his story. We needed to know WHY things happened the way they did. We needed to know just how much he sacrificed and what he made happen.

I’ve laughed and cried reading Bry & Nelly’s story. Such a sweet, sweet love story. I wish this wasn’t the end for Rollin On, especially for Nelly & Bry. I wish Bry was still alive to see the growing family he & Nelly created and nurtured over the years. So many things I want changed in Bry & Nelly’s story, but then again, this is what makes them unique and special. Thank you Bry & Nelly for your love. Your love is the reason why we know about the Kincaids and now their babies. Thank you Emilia for this sweet series. You’re the only one who can break my heart and piece it right back together in the end. Long live the Kincaids. ♥️

Amazing and heart-wrenching!!
The third and final novella about Bryan and Nelly Kincaid obliterated all expectations I may have had. It only took 30 minutes to read, but I’m still processing my emotions several hours later! Emilia Finn truly is a master at drawing a reader into her world, and making you feel as if the characters are part of your own family. Their pain and heartache becomes yours in such a profound way. Just make sure you have several boxes of tissues on hand before you even start this must-read!!

Breathing hurts...
This was a quick read, but for fans of the Rollin' series it's monumental. Emilia weaves a beautiful story of the Kincaid clan before they were the Rollers, and how family means far more than blood. Bryan Kincaid gives me all the feels and makes my heart bleed. Don't read without tissues!

Full Circle.
Knowing how the story would end, seeing the last moments of Bryan Kincaids life and the undying love for his family from his perspective gives closure to the great man who we have readers have come to love. Emilie did a fantastic job with this book as always, filling in the gaps and giving an unsung hero his story. A must read.

I am so happy she wrote the Early years books for the Rollin On series. These three books answered all the questions and background I was imagining after starting the Rollin series. Bitter sweet
Even though I've read Job and Izzy's books reading it from Bry's prospective was so different. I noticed the small little nuggets in this book too. I knew in a way the ending but not the details. This book was so sweet and explains why those boys love like they do too.

Spoiler Alert: Wow, Emilia has me in my feels! Now I know why Bryan was speaking to her. He had his story to tell. This book will have you in tears but a good book of closure to tell Bryan’s life full circle even if his circle was cut short.

Broken heart and tears.
I only can give 5 stars but a great big thank you to Emilia. Love this whole series. Bry and Nelly are awesome. What a beautiful love story. One can only hope we have a love like this.
