Simon Gant is the victim of a curse. One that will turn him into a savage beast twenty-one days after his twenty-first birthday unless he can find a witch to protect. Finding her isn’t the problem. Convincing her that someone could actually care for her might prove to be more difficult than anything this curse throws at him.
Despite her reluctance to accept his feelings for her, Simon knows that no one could be more perfect for him than Nicole. He has twenty-one days to convince Nicole to accept him before it’s too late. And if he can outplay Nicole’s overbearing sister as well as his best friend, he just might have a chance to stop the bloodthirsty killer growing inside him.
I enjoy reading and writing fantasy themed books, including romance novels. Most of my work is about fantastical worlds with magic and monsters.
Since I was young I've had a strange desire to create 'something' and as soon as I started writing my first book I knew I had finally found what I was looking for.
I hope you enjoy the worlds I have created and I appreciate your feedback. Feel free to contact me on my website at www.StevenSterupJr.com or email me at Steven@StevenSterupJr.com.
Wow, I loved this so much! Finally someone with a werewolf legend that isn't cookie cutter. The author embroidered on werewolves and how they came to be, making it a plot device unlike any other. Great twist!
I received a complementary copy of this book from the author via Voracious Readers Only. There was a lot of potential in this book. It reminded me of Vampire Diaries, initially. However, the book felt very short and rushed. There could have been more explanation that would have helped with the characters growth. In general, I am a fan if the supernatural genre, however, the supernatural element felt like an add-on. Ultimately, it was a good plot idea but a very cyclical execution which made the story feel repetitive. It is a quick read to pass some time, but that’s about it.
* I received a free copy of this book from the author via voracious readers only in exchange for an honest review* This was a great romance story with supernatural elements. I really enjoyed how the relationship developed throughout the book experiencing the main character learning how to support her and help her confidence. A lot of it was beautiful and innocent but there were more than a few times that made me blush, to say it was steamy would be an understatement. I very much enjoyed it and ended up finishing it in one sitting.
This book had an interesting concept in that a male was the center of the romance novel. It was refreshing to see that aspect! The storyline was interesting with a werewolf and a witch and the magic aspect of it. It’s a great storyline; however the delivery left a lot to be desired. The sentence structure at times was off putting, like it didn’t quite make sense why it was written that way. Also, the narration become repetitive and there were a lot of loose ends. I feel the story needed more character development and backstory of the subplots.
Thank you to Voracious Readers Only for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Interesting story line.. Not at all what I was expecting and did not end up where I thought either.. Pure fantasy to get the blood and imagination racing.. Unbreakable ties that bind, a love that cannot be broken..
I was given this book free in exchange for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed the male narrator in the story. A refreshing change in the romance genre. I also enjoyed the connections to the legends of werewolves and the ties to the plot. I found the connection between werewolves and witches a fun twist. The addition of the witches and the subplot of the coven is where I lost interest. Nicole’s insecurities and her issues with Tamara made for a longer story than was necessary and pulled from Simon. It was a fun read for the most part, but definitely had a few drawbacks.
