I thought this book was a good story, but that twisted ending shocked me. I was not expecting that at all!

flat/ quick/
Man…. Had the right ingredients but didn’t make a cake lol. This was flatttttttttttt. It has stalking, face paced, Instalove, obsessed, watches her sleep, secret cameras, etc and it just had no depth.

OVERALL THOUGHTS - This was a new author for me. The story wasn’t bad, and I enjoy a good twist ending. It felt a bit disjointed, but typically I’d say that’s fine because it’s necessary to keep up the mystery. However, in this case, I couldn’t really connect to the characters. They felt one-dimensional and I don’t think it had anything to do with the reason for the plot twist - they just weren’t well-developed. I also felt like there just needed to be more details in general, especially after all was revealed. And while I liked the twist, the ending left a lot to be desired.

Character development: I was interested in this story right away - good ol' stalker romance!
But then the twist! I did not see that coming! And Aston - talk about devotion! I mean, that is for better or for worse, but he really goes all in, and I love it! This was an unexpected turn, and connecting the roommate and the art was clever. However, why was the bad guy even still alive and walking around? That was odd. Had Aston been trying to kill him for 6 years, or had he been in prison? I felt like I was missing something there.

The story was really interesting and I know it was a novella but it definitely should have been a novel. It was just too short, too rushed. The storyline deserved more. However, I loved Aston, he seemed SUPER creepy but it ended up being super sweet. I recommend for a quick read but you may feel like you want more afterwards!

Read but Carefully......
Left me a little confused. The story ended in an unexpected way but very sweetly. However, I can’t say it fit with the storyline. I gave it three stars (would have given it 3 1/2 if I was able) because I think I understand what the author was going for. It was a valiant attempt that just missed its mark. But not a bad overall read.

That twist!!
That twist/ending was insane. I thought the story seemed to be fragmented and didn’t flow well. Now I see what the author did and I’m flabbergasted 😲. The sex was hot but not sure how I feel about how it all ended.

Wow!
Wow! I really liked this story. It took me one way and then pushed me around the corner and down the block! It was entertaining and enjoyable but also suspenseful and surprising. Caroline was an awesome friend. You won’t even know how awesome she was until you get to the end! Aston was amazing. We should all be so lucky as to have someone love us like Aston. Hailey was talented and sweet but also kinky and willing to ask for what she wanted. Aston did some “stalking” but it was definitely needed. I really wish there was an epilogue further out. I did like how the story ended though. I recommend reading this book.

That ending!! ❤️
I was a bit confused throughout the story. It felt choppy and like pieces of the story was missing. I wasn't sure if I could finish it or not BUT IM SO GLAD I STUCK IT OUT!! The twist ending, I did NOT see that coming and man did it make the whole writing style and the missing details portion actually make compete sense. I wished there was an epilogue or 2. Definitely would have liked to have read more of their story following the twisted ending but still it ended happy. Definitely loved it and highly recommend!

I started a book today and it was a DNF so I wanted something else. I found this in my ever growing TBR pile and decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did. This was an amazing read. It’s way too short and I would love a longer version of this or an epilogue or a book two! It has a twist you won’t see coming. I loved getting to know these characters and hope the author decides at some point to revisit them.

Honestly the first 80 was hot and thrilling there was stalking, obsession, instant connection, public play, and I was here for it. And then the twist happened ruined the book in my opinion. Got cheesey and weird (and I usually love cheesy and weird). I was reading a stalker book for dark, not wholesome. Not for me, might be for you idk.

This story was freaky from the very beginning 😵💫. As I'm reading it I kept thinking how bizarre this story is. I would find myself laughing out loud, not necessarily because it's funny but because I can't believe what I am reading!
It was a fun, quick read. I would not say it was a happy ending so much as a happy for now ending, but wow what a ride!

LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!
This book was so great. At first it seemed like he was a stalker only for there to be twist that one minute , made you think that everything was messed up, then you find out that he’s her husband and everything just gets even sweeter.

That was epic in all the most wonderful ways! Ok that twist was seriously the cherry on top. Like I thought this was just regular smegular(Issa word) but nope you spun the world on its axis and made me go OH MY DAMN!!!

Great read, not what you'd expect
I really enjoyed this book, even though the end came kind of abruptly. It would have been nice to have an epilogue, as it left me with some questions.

Quick Stalker Romance
I enjoyed this novella and although Aston seems to be an obsessive stalker there’s a huge twist near the end that explains everything.
