My past taught me family means pain. I don’t want one, other than my club. But fate has other plans.

Darby: At fifteen, I thought I knew everything. Having been in foster care all my life, not much scared me. I’d already faced monsters parading around as upstanding citizens. But life hadn’t prepared me for a biker who would lure me in, kidnap me, and abuse me for five years. I got Fawn out of it, my precious girl, and a lot of bad memories. Being tossed into a dumpster and left to die wasn’t at the top of my list, but Renegade found me. I’ve never had a man be kind to me or my daughter before -- especially not a biker -- and I’m not sure what to think. I want to trust him, but I don’t want to give him my heart only to have him turn out like every other man I’ve ever known. It would break me.

Renegade: I lost my family a long time ago, and I vowed I’d never have another. I still have Nikki, my baby sis, and that’s enough. My club is a family, but that’s different. I trust them, and in my own way I love them, but it’s not the same as having a wife and kids. I’ll never go down that path. Then I found Fawn and her mother, Darby, thrown away like unwanted trash. Yeah, Fate’s laughing her ass off right now. They’re in my home, and slowly worming their way under my skin. Hearing their story is enough to make my blood boil and send rage flooding through me. I’ll exact revenge for all they’ve suffered, and then they’ll truly be free, able to move on without fear of being taken again. Except… I might not want to let them go.

WARNING: This story contains violence, bad language, and really hot sex. While there are abuse themes, nothing is told in great detail.

Harley Wylde is the International Bestselling Author of the Dixie Reapers MC, Devil's Boneyard MC, and Hades Abyss MC series.

When Harley's writing, her motto is the hotter the better -- off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can't deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you've come to the right place. She doesn't shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.

The times Harley isn't writing, she's thinking up naughty things to do to her husband, drinking copious amounts of Starbucks, and reading. She loves to read and devours a book a day, sometimes more. She's also fond of TV shows and movies from the 1980's, as well as paranormal shows from the 1990's to today, even though she'd much rather be reading or writing.

HOLY FREAKIN WOW!
This book is definitely one of my favorites of the series! This book was a complete emotional overload and I loved every minute of it. I love a book where an adorable little child can wrap a bunch of big bad@ss men around their little finger and that's exactly what the adorable little Fawn does. I laughed and I cried hard. This book is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The excitement and the suspense had me holding my breath and a little ache in my heart. Renegade is a dream come true especially for Darby and adorable little Fawn. He's big, bad@ss, gorgeous, alpha and keeps his heart guarded because he lost his mother, father and brother in a fire so he thinks everyone he loves dies. He still has his sister Nikki but he keeps her away from the Devil's Boneyard MC clubhouse because he doesn't want her to be with any of his MC brothers because if they would hurt her or break her heart then he'd have to fight a brother. Darby is a beautiful woman who has spent her entire life in foster care or alone and in just about every foster home she was physically and emotionally abused by the men then as if her life couldn't get much worse she's kidnapped and held prisoner for 5 years by Satan and his minions themselves where she lives the most torturous nightmare anyone could imagine. Then when little Fawn is born they both suffer such horrifying things I can't even image how someone could survive. When Renegade starts to open his heart alittle at a time to Darby and Fawn it's like the grinch when his heart started to swell. Lol! And when Renegade and Darby finally get between the sheets it's set your crotch on fire smokin hot.. WOOH! When things start to get really intense Harley's descriptions of the scenes are so great you can almost feel their emotions coming off the pages. I EXTREMELY recommend this series to everyone. Every book leaves you wanting more. My only complaint is the books are not long enough for the price.

Renegade, a member of the Devil’s Boneyard Motorcycle Club, was at the liquor store stacking up on booze when he heard a noise and decided to take a look in case someone was going to rob the store. Instead he finds a filthy young girl who wouldn’t talk but showed him to a dumpster. What he finds shocks him. A young woman, beaten, cut, and unconscious was left in the dumpster to die.

The young woman, Darby, had been kidnapped at the age of 15, raped and became pregnant soon after. Boomer, the leader of the Mayhem Riders Nomads, the man who kidnapped her used the two of them against each other to keep them in line. After being rescued by Renegade, she is confused whether or not to trust him with her and her daughter’s safety.

I enjoyed the plot and as soon as I started reading, I couldn’t stop. It is a sobering reminder of what can happen when someone makes a mistake that can change your life forever. We also get to see the resilience of the young and the protectiveness of a mother’s love. Then there is the fact that, although Renegade couldn’t see himself with a family, after a few hours he can’t imagine his life without them.

The characters were complex with their own issues and hopes. I enjoyed seeing Renegade opening his house and heart to the abused women. One of the cutest moments is watching Fawn, the young girl, run into his arms calling him daddy. Fawn’s trust was easy for him to earn as he was the one who rescued her mom but it was heartbreaking seeing her flinch away from everyone else.

Darby remembered Renegade and his sister, as she had gone to high school with his sister Nikki. She had a crush on him, but knew he was too old for her at the time. She was also impressed at how her daughter was treated, with care and love. Another funny moment was watching Renegade buy them both clothing and other items they would need, completely out of his element as he had no idea what they needed.

This is a book full of harsh truths, hope, and a love that overcomes tragedy. It shows that a family can be made from the worst circumstances and that the past isn’t going to hold back those who want to have a new future.

Rince and repeat. This serious is full of copied plot points and recycled storylines. The whole premise is very similar to Scratch while we once again hear about tied tubes healing themselves. At this failure rate, no one should even attempt to stop having kids in such a way. I definitely wasn't impressed with the speed of the first sexual encounter. I mean, come on, really.

Not exactly a meet cute,
Renegade was not smooth with words, but that made him more endearing, along with the way he treated Darby as his queen and Fawn like his precious princess. Darby is very relatable with her trust issues, and brave because she . Fawn is just straight up adorable.
Book is SAFE.
Heat is EXPLICIT.
TRIGGERS include mention of SA of a minor and other abuse, graphic violence, and language.
TROPES include Age Gap, Damsel in Distress, Instalove, Adorable Moppet, Single Mom, Convenient Coma Recovery.

Darby and her little girl are in more than a tight spot; they are at the end of their rope. To protect her daughter, Darby is on the run. Darby will die before she lets her ex get ahold of their daughter and Renegade is just the man to do it. Renegade can't help but feel something for Darby and her little girl. He wants to shelter them, protect them, but most of all he wants Darby's battered heart. He shows her every day what a good man is and soon enough Darby lets Renegade in but right when their HEA starts, Darby's past comes calling. Renegade isn't called Renegade for nothing-there is no corner of hell he won't go to erase any threat to Darby, her daughter, or his club.

Be ready to cry. Be ready to laugh. Be ready to hop in that cold shower a few times.

Renegade

Hi, This novel is very thoughtful to read how very easy it is to trust the wrong people. It’s human nature to see good in others only sometimes some people are just bad inside. I am glad the way this story line plays out. Kept me reading way into the night finding it very hard to put down as l had this need to know what happens next, was not disappointed.
I would recommend this novel to all my friends who are of the same mindset as me. Harley once again you have not disappointed me you just keep this amazing novels coming , please continue with your outstanding ability to keep everyone on the edge of their seat.
Thank you,
Sunta 😉🥰

This book was awesome! Incredibly sweet. And there were also some sexy bits. Not many, for reasons you'll get when you read it. Renegade was hot as hell. And sweet as pie. Fawn was so damn cute. And I liked Darby. What a shame the book's ended already. I wanted more.

The beginning of this story starts with Renegade finding Darby and her daughter in an alley. Both mother and daughter were physically abuse. Renegade felt sorry for both of them. He decided to take them back to the MC Boneyard and protect them. He doesn't feel that he could have a family, but he finds that he had strong romantic feelings for Darby and Fawn.

A good story which I felt was a little rushed in places. Enjoyable as MC books go with some interesting characters and a good if predictable in places plot.

Excellent Read

Darby had a very rough life, for one so young, plus she had a baby, she was trying to protect. Renegade and Darby were meant to met again. I highly recommend this.

Renegade is a guy who thinks he knows what he wants, what he needs. After losing his parents and brother, all he needs is his MC and his sister. He doesn't want a family, they will just die on him and leave him wrecked. On the anniversary of the fire that blew his life apart, he finds a mute little girl behind a liquor store. She leads him to the dumpster where the most beautiful woman lies unresponsive and most likely dead from her obvious injuries. He can't help himself, he has to help them. Before he knows it, Darby and her little girl Fawn are living in his house and taking up residence in his heart. There is no way that he could ever let them go, nothing that could possibly keep them apart, right?

I love Harley Wylde books, they are a great mix of sweet and gritty MC. She manages to write about tough subjects that explains the characters and their trauma without describing it in detail. The world can be a awful place and we can imagine how tough it was. Subjects that would normally have me anxious and having to take a break, I am able to read and enjoy the triumph of the characters over these situations. Darby has survived a terrible, horrible, horrific situation and really sees Renegade as a hero. Her daughter Fawn saw that from him from the very beginning and he never breaks their trust. The men of the Devil's Boneyard are honorable men, loyal and willing to do whatever it takes for their families whether they are blood or acquired. Couldn't turn the pages fast enough and I can't wait for more books from this awesome lady!

Renegade is the latest addition to the ‘’devil’s bone yard MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an action packed read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
Renegade just wanted to get drunk on the anniversary of his parents and brother’s death. Instead, he finds a beaten young woman in a dumpster and her small child. Determined to help, he takes them home with him and wants to protect him. He doesn’t want to fall for her but he soon can’t stop himself.
Darby has had a hard life. Growing up in foster care, kidnapped, beaten and raped at the age of fifteen and dumped with her child at twenty. She doesn’t think she can trust anyone but Renegade makes her feel safe.
The chemistry between Renegade and Darby is clear to see and I liked the build up to them getting together. I loved how protective Renegade was of Darby and Fawn.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue to this story.
One last thing; I love Fawn’s name and her instant bond with Renegade.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an emotional journey. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Renegade was just going to get his liquor and head home. He didn’t expect to meet Darby and her daughter Fawn in the alley. Darby beaten up and left for dead. Fawn skinny and bruised. But there was something about her that tugged at him. Now the Devil’s Boneyard will be protecting them and will stop at nothing to keep them safe.

I like that there is a sort of past with them. And now we get a bit of a story with Nikki his sister. I love that all our bikers’ care. They don’t take advantage of the woman and they have a loving/caring heart with the kids. You wouldn’t think that when it comes to these guys. Yes there is a scary past for Darby. But she melts the heart of Renegade. Of course the chemistry/sex is always hot. There will be a reckoning with those that caused Darby and Fawns misery. But what a journey they had to endure.

Yeah, nah. This had potential, and there were points where I really felt for the characters (mainly the heroine). But everything happened way too quick. Less than 24 hours after being found in a dumpster, she is having sex with a complete stranger.

When Renegade follows a little girl to a garbage dumpster, he finds a woman inside. Darby has lived through a traumatic episode one that caused her to become pregnant and have a child. When Renegade listens to her story he takes her home with him and it will start them along their journey but when the nomads that took her wants her back, will Renegade and his MC brothers be able to keep her safe? This story touched my heart and had me cheering for Renegade and Phoebe to get their chance for happiness!

Renegade and Darby

Renegade came across a battered Darby by accident when he had seen Fawn her daughter crying with no shoes on in the alley, he rescues them both but is worried about having a family, this is the sixth book in the devils vineyard and can be read as a stand-alone book, especially as although characters from previous books are mentioned it’s not connected

A little different

Like all the Devils stories, so I was glad to get the road captains. Darby and Fawn came from a true nightmare. I just wish we knew why they were dumped in the trash? Still a good love story but short on backstory. As

My heart broke for Darby and little Fawn. How anyone could do that to me beats me. I am so glad Renegade came into their lives when he did. My heart broke again near the end of the book but then I had to laugh at little Fawn with her new top.
