Her Wicked Ways (Book One)
To save his orphanage from collapse, Montgomery "Fox" Foxcroft leads a double life as a highwayman. Banished debutante Lady Miranda Sinclair is his salvation—until she rejects him. Out of options and falling for the heiress, Fox must risk what principles he has left and take advantage of her wicked ways—even if it ruins them both.

His Wicked Heart (Book Two)
Jasper Sinclair, Earl of Saxton, made a bargain with his devil of a father to marry a proper deb. Instead, he becomes entangled with a sometimes actress, Olivia West, determined to improve her situation. Destitute and desperate, she agrees to one night with Jasper, hatching a scheme to take his money and keep her virtue. However, Jasper uncovers her deception and vows to claim what he’s owed.

To Seduce a Scoundrel (Book Three)
When debutante Lady Philippa finds herself in a potentially compromising situation, she’s “rescued” by England’s most notorious scoundrel, Lord Ambrose Sevrin. Despite his scandalous past, Ambrose vows to preserve Philippa’s reputation, but instead launches them both on a path to public and personal ruin.

Secrets and Scandals - Volume 1

I really enjoyed this box set!
Three great stories!
Yes, there were some inaccuracies, but looking past them to the stories brought a whole heap of goodness!!
Three very virile men, and three fantastically forceful women!
I really enjoyed these books!

Secrets & Scandals Volume 1

Book 1 - Her Wicked Ways - 5 stars
This was probably my favorite of the 3 books. Fox and Miranda were excellent leads. In my opinion Miranda's character grew the most. She transformed herself.

Book 2 - His Wicked Heart - 4 stars
Another good read. Olivia and Jasper were good leads. I really didn't understand why Olivia kept lying to Jasper or Louisa - I know the author attempts to blame it on her lack of trust in others - but it made her seem like she was just lying because she was using them. And Jasper - I still don't understand the need to fight - and even if the author spelled it out for me in little tiny words - I probably still wouldn't get it.

Book 3 - To Seduce a Scoundrel - 3 stars
Philippa and Ambrose aka Sevrin started out great. But once she follows him to Cornwall the book kind falls apart for me. He just seemed bent on having a pity party - and after awhile I was just sick of him and wanted her to leave and let him be miserable in peace. And again the fighting thing was hard for me to understand. Though in this book I understood the hero's need more than I did in the last book.

All in all, a very good collection and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I was lucky enough to win this set from the author. I would describe the writing and the books as more high concept (lots going on in terms of plot) and less flat-out romance (boy-girl meet and live happily ever after as foregone conclusion which I am less crazy about). I would rate the first book a 2.5 just because the characters were interesting but I didn't love them. I felt the ending was a little rushed also. I'm glad I stuck with the series because the books got better and better as the series went on. Book 2 was a solid 3.0 but again I felt the ending a bit rushed. By book 3, I would say it was a solid 4.0. Loved the opening, loved the characters, and loved the drama. I thought pacing was good, too.

What a great bang for your buck! I stumbled upon and read book 5 of this series and loved it then was happy to find this boxed set. I read through this in record time and having it all in a set made it easy. Well worth the buy.
