What an amazing follow up to the first novel. Somehow it is even better than the first!
I loved getting back into Lunas' story and her adventures.
She is such a strong character and I love her spunk and sass attitude.
Great world building again in this one.
Fabulous plot and story line that kept me reading all the way to the end in one sitting.
Loving all the characters and they are well fleshed out.
Hope there may be more in the pipe line to continue theses adventures.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Why are all the guys in her life so much trouble?

This I the second book of the series and Luna's life is on the crazy side. Luna now knows that the family that raised her are not related to her by blood. She still has confusion in her life because of the Shadow warrior's Winter and Chaos. Each of them tell her she can't trust the other one but still reveal very little for proof.

Also, Emmet happens to be caught up in someone's skeem to discover what Luna is and is kidnapped with a criptic message left behind. Now she has to enlist help to find Emmet and doesn't know if she can trust the help.

Luna ends up with more questions about Winter and Chaos then she ever though possible. Also she continues to try to get the truth from Winter about her true parents and why he was entrusted with her safety.

This is an interesting read and I definitely want to read more.

Our heroine is still growing into her powers, but her enemies won't wait and use her friends as leverage. That is not going to go well for anyone.

This is book two of the series. It works pretty well as a standalone as the essential bits are explained early on.

This is an urban fantasy story with witches and other paranormals. The story is very well written and draws you in from the start. Both the setting and characters are well developed and we get to see more of both as this story unfolds. I really like our heroine who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Overall, another fast paced and engaging story which leaves you wanting more.

Highly recommended.

I received an ARC from Hidden Gems for review purposes.

If book 1 was great, book 2 is phenomenal! There is so much happening here, action and tension and suspense, amazing turns in the plot and vivid, compelling characters.

*Possible spoilers*

When Emmet is kidnapped, Luna has no option but to turn to Winter. He quickly offers to help but their quest takes them to dark places and uncovers dangerous secrets. When Chaos enters the picture, things quickly get out of control.

I absolutely loved how Luna grows in this book and how her chemistry with Winter intensifies and was surprised at how much Chaos and his manic energy grew on me.

Excellent follow up to the first book in the series, Luna. I love Luna as a character, she is strong and resilient even in the face of situations that are far beyond what she has ever encountered. Stella Fitzsimons does a great job of keeping the story flowing all the while keeping the reader engaged. If you loved the first one, you’ll love this one too! As we moved in to book 2, only winter and chaos knew the truth. Now a few more do. And at each revelation, there is more to understand there's a lot of depth in these books, which gives them a lot of meat to latch onto. I get all caught up in the storyline and it's really good!!!

Winter

I may be getting over Winter being an asshat but now the jury is still out. There are characters who drop in for unknown reasons and perhaps this will all be revealed in the future.
