C0lton Lang, a champion boxer, is forced by threats to throw a big fight. As a result, he becomes a pawn of crooked gambling forces and is coerced into collecting gambling debts for them. Since he is a good man, he tries to solve problems without causing harm to anyone. Since he no longer has a boxing career, he starts a private investigation office, and at the opening of the book, he takes the job of finding a girl who has been kidnapped by a gigantic and evil criminal ring. He is pitted against over-whelming odd that once again involve the safety of the family he loves. This is a fast-paced thriller with the biggest showdown of all, one well-written in the Randall Moore style!

Colton Lang was a contender in the boxing ring until criminals needed him to take a fall. Since that time he has become a private detective helping find lost family members and protect others. When several cases become related, life becomes perilous for the former boxer.
This is a fast moving, hard-hitting thriller. Hoping to see more installments of this new hero.

This story hs a lot of action and grabs your attention right from the start. Colton was a former boxer and has now become a Private Investigator. He gets a request to find a missing girl. His next client, a former boxing opponent, request him to help his son out of a drug deal, and finally he gets another client to help him with a lawsuit trying to steal his invention.
It turns out that all of this cases are indirectly related to a crime lord. While attempting to resolve this, he meets the crime lord and is directed to murder another crime lord located in Seattle, Washington. Colton is not a murder, so while working on this mission, he develops an understanding and then receives assistance in resolving his other issues.
All of the interaction between the characters is well portrayed especially Colt's involvement with Otis and Lincoln. The action takes you from L.A. to Seattle, to North Carolina.
The ending is well done and if you want to find out what happened, I highly recommend this book.
